[up][up][up] Ganondorf's always had a giant widow's peak, it's just how his hairline works. In fact, his seven-year mullet in the post-timeskip part of Oo T could be seen as the precursor to his Twilight Princess curls. Though his execution must have been far longer than seven years after he was first imprisoned, seeing how much longer it was then...

Man, Adventure Mode is kinda tough when you actually know what you're shooting for. I'm going for a tile that I think contains Link's Gauntlet weapon type, but there's some very tough maps in the way.

I have a message from another time...

My least favourite tend to be the Kill X in ten minutes. Each tier of reinforcements only shows up at a certain number of K Os, not a certain time, so you can get irreversibly screwed if a giant boss takes too long to show its weak points.

On the upside, I've figured out most of the combinations to quickly eat away at weak points. Imprisoned is the only one I can't beat in a short manner, but that's because it's just an oversized blob of stalling (It's actually programmed to recover immediately after taking half weak point damage, as well as taking too long to damage).

Pro-tip for the level 2 Summoning Gate mission: To hit the clear time, I abused a little glitch that makes all mission objectives come to you. When you take down the Enemy valued captain, instead of capturing the keep with the fire fairy in it, you go straight to the enemy base, rush in, bash something, then rush out before the barrier hurts you too much. This causes the Other valued captain to go marching straight to your base. Kill him, and then the Enemy Commander will go straight to your base. Kill them, and the Ally Commander go rushing to the Other base to kill the Other Commander.

Man, I had to skip so many spoilers because I still have a lot to do.

I've only just done the second level and met Sheik.

I'm not doing bad, but my ability to read the map is poor, so when someone is in trouble I tend to find it hard to get to them in time.

I know that's gonna bite me right in the ass eventually. Also, I still suck at getting close to certain monsters when their weak point gauge is up. I think I need to roll to them, but ironically enough, I keep forgetting to do that. So I just throw a buttload of bombs in order to get them open and do damage.

So when my X gauge is full, should I use it right away, or save it for later? Same with my magic gauge. And which is better; using the magic gauge and then pressing X right away, or doing some more damage and then doing it. Gotta get the most out of my attacks

Also got the fire rod.cool Haven't used it yet, but I'll make sure to wreck a lot of shit with it, I tell you what.evil grin

Someone said something about Volga being downloadable content?

Would that include Cia and Wizzro?

When you build up to it, I'd recommend using your special attack sooner rather than later. After all, once it's used up, you can start building up to the next one.

As for the "kill X enemies" maps, it depends on who the stalling boss is. If it's someone slow like Manhandla or King Dodongo, you can just run away from them and kill minions in another part of the map until they creep up on you, then zoom off again. I haven't managed to stay ahead of Gohma, though.

Me neither sad. It makes that one mission where you have to kill 400 enemies as Lana impossible

There's one mission where there's 3 Manhandlas stalling you, though. Even if they're slower than Gohma, they still get in the way tremendously.

Well, I don't know how I'd do it with Lana, but I can easily beat Manhandla with the Fire Rod.

As soon as all the heads are down, I immediately run close and start comboing. I use the B B B B Y combo, and if I time it just right, they'll reveal their weak point at the very end of the attack, taking half of the weak point off. Follow up with a second one, and it'll be almost ready for the weak point smash. Throw in a Special attack, and the following smash should finish it in one blow.

Hopefully. It's a bit irregular for me. I think I should try installing the corresponding Strong X skill, and see what that does.

So there's that costume change someone was asking about. tongue It appears to be based on Cia pre-split. Link will also be getting a Dark Link alt.

Here's the render of Lana's, as well as Cia's (who's maskless, so don't click if you don't want to know). I really like it, for both of them, and the subtle differences between the two outfits are nice.

As for the video, Cia looks like fun, and I now find her Dark Link summoning (as a part of her overall style) to be pretty cool (though I'm a fan of portal-based moves in general). Her laugh seems like it'd get annoying though.

Wow, so the new Adventure Map really is the same size as the original...to be honest, without any new areas or bosses I feel like these added maps will just get tiresome before long, but who knows.

The Lulu costume for Ruto included in the first DLC pack looks quite good, considering it's just a texture swap.
