I've got a few but I will go with Haven. I tried, I really did. I actually gave it six episodes before bailing but it just refused to develop any type of story arc.
I'll say The Office for me. My friends kept going on about how hilarious it was, so I gave it a watch and oh holy hell did I find it to be boring as hell.
Which version
Seconding whoever said True Blood I can't stand that show, I tried but couldn't get into it
Humour, where would we be without it? In Germany, probablyI first saw the American version, and then the British version when it was on Adult Swim. Both bored the crap outta me and I normally am a fan of British comedy.
Firefly- I...uh, well...I heard about it, heard it hyped, and watched three or four episodes. Not so much fun, I don't know why... I just didn't like it, River and Book were sort of good... everyone else just struck me as "meh". I will try to watch through the entire series and Serenity though just because it is so short/because my friends are huge browncoats.
Star Trek- I am a "proud to be geek" ....I don't like Star Trek, I tried to honestly, I did...I watched various episodes from the various forms of it.... and well, meh, the plots are sort of bland...I honestly feel unpatriotic because I love the British version (Yes, Doctor Who) so to speak but can't bring myself to even like the most famous running American Sci-fi...
iCarly- It downright just, well... I should like it, just don't. ...Tween/teen sitcoms
I never got along with either version of The Office. I was assured by my parents (my Dad in particular) that most of the humour appeal of the British version is simply too observational to pull in viewers like me. The American version, to me, doesn't seem to have made its mind up between replicating that or going off in a slightly more confused or wacky direction.
I'll nominate The Inbetweeners too. It's marketed at my age group (or at folks just a little younger than me) and was even pitched to me by a fan as 'Curb Your Enthusiasm with self-important British young adults', which sounded kind of fun. The concept otherwise has a great lot of potential. Instead I just find battle sites devastated by multiple Cluster F Bombs shot off by downright unlikable characters and a number of unfunny sex jokes surveying the scenery. For the record, I'm of the opinion that sex can be done very right in comedies with the right structuring. Whatever the Hell that means.
Eh, maybe I just need to watch more episodes or something.
I want to like Gilmore Girls - in fact, I do. They have dangerous levels of cuteness and the bitchiness and levels of heartwarming are great. Just - I can't find the motivation to keep watching. If I come to a friends house and she's got an episode on, I'll happily watch it, but I couldn't get halfway through the first season on my own. (Probably a good thing, anyway, since I heard there's a lot of Jumping the Shark come later seasons.)
I wanted to like Torchwood, but it just seemed really boring to me and seemed like an excuse to add adult elements to Doctor Who. I tried to watch it, but I gave up after Countrycide, which seemed to have a lot of pointless violence that didn't seem that entertaining. Also, I thought Firefly was okay, hut it definitely didn't live up to the hype.
Excuse me, but why isn't this classed as a complaint thread? It sure seems like one.
What Firefly needed was another season with a larger budget, that's all. If a show starts out amazing and becomes mediocre later on, I'm pissed. But I've seen enough shows blossom in the second of third seasons to give them leeway. Certainly that was the case with SG-1 and others.
However. Firefly is a one-seasons set and deserve to be judged on its own. And it's a pretty cheap show. There's the reason the best episodes are the bottle shows set on the ship, and not on some orange-tinted "planet".

I'm a skeptical squirrelFirefly. I'd seen it only once, and even then, I didn't think it was great. Not bad, but definitely not great. I'd thought of giving another chance, but seeing so many people gush about it has caused so much Hype Backlash for me that I don't want anything to do with it anymore.

I wanted to like The Unit because it had Dennis Haysbert, whom I knew from Now and Again and 24, but I just couldn't get into it. Didn't find it very exciting or interesting at all. Was also hoping for good things from Touch, but I just didn't find anything to connect with.
Torchwood was the first Who-related material I ever saw, and it put me off watching Doctor Who for a long time. Torchwood keeps the loose plotting and silliness of Doctor Who, but replaces the fun side of it with pure sleaze.
Current shoes:
Bones. I've tried tonwatch a couple of times and found it so stupid as tonbe insulting to real LE Os.
X Factor. Usually I watch a couple of the tryouts but end up not watching the competition. I have a feeling its rigged anyway. Its pretty much the same as American Idol but with any age group and group acts.
Honey Boo Boo.
Any "realitiy show". None of them are real. Most of them are scripted. I really do not like most of them.
Old shows:
24: tried a couple times and couldnt get into it.
Why is it you want to like Honey Boo Boo?
Anything sci-fi. I've tried and tried to get into it — in part because one of the world-building ideas I have is steeped in it — but nothing ever clicks. I just find myself confused to no end, or just getting nothing out of it, or both.
Stargate SG 1. I caught episodes of it years ago when it was still somewhere in the middle of its run, but never got into it. I really, really like Atlantis, so when it came out I decided to give SG 1 another shot, but for some reason I just find it kind of boring. Also, Stargate Universe, but I also found that really boring too.
True Blood. I was reading the trope page for it and thought it sounded really cool. And hey, hot guys, homoeroticism, alright! And then I tried to watch it and found it unbearably bad. Not even Alexander Skarsgard can keep me watching.
Hawaii Five-O. It seemed like something I'd really like, but everytime I watch it it never really draws me in. And the one character, um, Steve? I like him, but it really seems like the writers are trying way too hard to make him come off as a badass and a Jerk with a Heart of Gold, or something.
