^ Has Nintendo ever even acknowledged that show?

Never officially, but subtly.

For example, the Crystal Coconut DID originate from the show. Then it was brought over into the mainstream series as an ordinary power-up.

They don't really reference it much though.

The Crystal Coconut could just be a Canon Foreigner.

More of a Canon Immigrant, once you think about it.

They really didn't ackedknowledge the show, but I've heard it was actually very popular in Japan.

*big bump* So this game is getting a 3DS port or remake soon. I don't know why they would port a console game down to a handheld, though. Definitely, the rolling controls are going to be better since the 3DS's motion control isn't practical for waggling.

I also hope this is a sign that another DKCR game is coming up. I do miss Dixie, Funky, and all the other Kongs.

Much as I love this game, I think a 3DS port would mean the multiplayer will be sorely missed.

Some of my best memories from this game come from playing it with my brother, in honor of the DKC games of our old SNES. A lot of my "best memories" of this game involve dying repeatedly in hilarious ways.

I have a message from another time...

[up][up]It's quick, it's easy, and there's likely to be a good group of gamers who sold their wiis before DKCR came out, meaning they can dip in some missed sales.

[up]Well, you could do wireless co-op.

Remember! Hyperbole is an exaggeration made for comedic effect, and shouldn't be taken literally!
