Cassandra's reactions are great.
I just checked and it looks like the patch didn't add amulets of power back into the world.
That might have been a balance fix.
It only affects Amulets in containers, so it's probably related to that glitch where you loot ONLY the Amulet, then leave and come back and the Amulet is there again, allowing you to loot infinite Amulets.
War Table Amulets can't be abused this way, and War Table Amulets are still obtainable, so the connection seems to be there. I bet they'll give back Container Amulets when they figure out what caused that to happen and make it not happen.
My Tumblr. Currently liveblogging Haruhi Suzumiya and revisiting Danganronpa V3.
It was to stop people from using the chest farming exploit to get infinite amulets of power. Unfortunately, those of us who didn't use that exploit now can't loot amulets of power.
"Oh no. People are breaking the single player game!"
Jaws of Hakkon adds one thing the game needed: End Game Heavy armor Qunari can actually wear since they are blocked from all of them. T4 Refined Battlemaster Mail is all races compatible! Yayy! It's got the highest armor rating in the game! Yaaay! It looks identical to T2 sturdy vanguard mail! yay?
So it turns out that I was wrong about the Jaws of Hakkon shards being useless if you've already completed the Oasis Temple. There's a cave system beneath the Tevinter outpost where you begin the Tevinter guidepost beam chain. Hidden in that cave is a door that requires twelve shards (exactly as many as can be found in the Frostback Basin). Inside, you find a coffin that increases your cold resistance and ice elemental loot. There's also a carving dedicated to Gelduin, one of the mysterious elven Forgotten Ones.
Also, has anyone tried recruiting Grandin? What happens if you do that.
-twiddles thumbs-
So, the Dalish elves live longer than their city kin. They claim its because they're living away from humans like the early Arlathan elves. Is it magic, or just not living in urban poverty?
Probably the latter.
It also might be nothing more than the Dalish spreading rumor. 'We're better than them because we live longer'. When, even if it was true, its not living longer by that much more.
I would highly recommend recruiting Storvacker if you can. That entire scene is hilarious and wonderful. Bring Cassandra and make every pun you can for bonus points.
I don't have any idea who that other guy you recruited is though.
They'll probably make us pay for it anyway.
Your momma's so dumb she thinks oral sex means talking dirty.
It's free and coming in early May.
No, it's free DLC and coming out in early May.
Yeah. Thus speaketh Twitter.
The Keep has been updated to include a spoiler toggle. So no more broken DAI Tapestry.
So playing the DLC I bought the schematic for the Orlesian Hennan, excited that my inquisitor might also be as fabulous as Vivienne... only to start crafting it to find it's STILL Vivienne Only.
Fucking Bioware.
Still a fun DLC so far.

I know. "Oh, shit. I can make dread!? The one Qunari helmet... that is Iron Bull only... Damnit!"
Hey I figured with schematics maybe one could use any human trained headgear. Why the fuck is the hennan Vivienne only, anyway? There's really no logic behind it. Qunari headgear makes sense, but not Vivienne's hat.
With Cole's hat Cole only? I mean other than the ugliness.
I'm guessing the purpose is so you can upgrade those hats/helmets for Late game without having them horribly outclassed. And its not Inquisitor made because... clipping issues??? I can at least see that with Bull and Vivienne's hats since they're specially structured, but Cole's seems odd.

I need a new sig.Damn, I wanted to make Cole's hat for myself.
Something in Jaws of Hakkon that I didn't know about. Link (not embedding to avoid spoiling people).
