^He didn't mean cutscenes, he meant when the actual battle starts if Leliana is as npc fighting or if she stands at background pretending to be fighting
Apparently, DAI's been delayed until November 18 for North America and November 21 everywhere else. The official news article isn't up, but all the descriptions in the official Youtube videos have the new date.
It's good that they're taking their time, but I'm rather sad that I'll have to wait an extra month.
Yeah :(
On the bright side it's a more plausible Christmas gift :D As long as I can go for a month without spoilers XD
Ah, what?
God. I'm glad they're taking their time, I guess, but I don't know if I can handle more waiting.
"It's so hard to be humble, knowing how great I am."This can only be a good thing.
"For all those whose cares have been our concern, the work goes on, the cause endures, the hope still lives, and the dream shall never die."For the game, yes. For my sanity? No.
"It's so hard to be humble, knowing how great I am."I'm glad they're taking their time, but that's one week after the MCC... crap.
On the other hand, October is less ridiculously packed now.
Aww what? The site refuses to load the article for me(probably because I'm from europe). Why do all series that I like all come out a week or two after my birthday.
Isn't kind of late to be changing major stuff like that?
I think that's more of 'announcement bullshit'. If they were really honest, it would be that they need more time to clean up the game and animations and balance gameplay.
But, that sounds far less worth the extra wait than 'We're fixing up the immersion and adding plot details'.
I'm a critical person but I'm a nice guy when you get to know me. Now, I should be writing.Or "We need to iron out about 1,000 bugs caused by fixing what we thought was a simple variable error"

Well, that too, but I thought that much would be obvious.
I'm a critical person but I'm a nice guy when you get to know me. Now, I should be writing.Yeah, as if that'll save it from the gazillion of bugs its predecessors had.
"If you aren't him, then you apparently got your brain from the same discount retailer, so..." - Fighteer-weighted hand- I can't think of any games that have been made worse by any extra month, but it's a month, which isn't exactly a long time when working on something that took four years. Still, I look forward to it. Atleast I'll have a chance to get into my University work before DA binging.

It's your God, they're your rules, you go to hell." - Mark TwainPeople always talk about how many bugs Origins and DAII have, but I've never run into any. Aside from maybe one or two graphical glitches.
Doesn't mean they don't exist, of course, but their existence doesn't guarantee they'll ruin the game.
"It's so hard to be humble, knowing how great I am."I didn't run into many issues, but I've also been on the other end where I had game breakingly bad glitches (from EA too) and not many others did and EA refused to patch it and that was such a horrible experience since I really loved the game too. So, if it means others and possibly myself will not have that issue, I'm fine.
I just worry how late in the game this push back announcement is being made.
I'm a critical person but I'm a nice guy when you get to know me. Now, I should be writing.I don't actually recall getting any visual bugs in DAO beyond characters occasionally remaining in combat stance even after you've killed all the enemies. That surprises me, especially since it's a fairly glitchy game.
I've had some rather amusing instances in ME3 where my Shepard steadfastly refuses to look at the people she's speaking with, but nothing in either of the Dragon Age games.

Combat stance after combat was fairly common. Awakening would also eat my gear in the mines if I didn't take it all off first.
Oh, and increasing load times between areas.

I never had any bugs.
My definition of a lot of bugs is your average Bethesda game, something I dont think Dragon Age even nears.
Saw this◊ in relation to the delay.
Also, I don't recall any serious bugs, but my brain isn't really wired to retain that stuff.

I encountered one bug after first saving Vigil's Keep in the beginning of Awakening that had me do the entire subsequent meeting with my arms up.
Sometimes my game will freeze and I'll have to start over, but it only tends to happen once in a whole play-though, if that. Also the loading bug still happens on consoles so after about 2 hours of play I have to save and exit my game in order to refresh the quest spawn time.

Yeah, she snaps the neck of the guy torturing her, then holds off the demons and mooks while Dorian and the Inquisitor open the portal.
