Seems it took the visual pun approach
Indeed. I say weak keep for the current. It's cute, and I don't think it's hurting the page.
I agree with this sentiment.
Bigotry will NEVER be welcome on TV Tropes.Keep. I enjoy the Visual Pun.
Kaito is an alien and he is kinda spacey, coming from the universe to party and go crazy! It's a workable Visual Pun, I wouldn't pull it without replacement.
The universe is under no obligation to make sense to us.An actual picture of the trope would be a comic panel with narration that would ultimately just be a page quote with extra steps, or else JAFAAC of one of the captains. Keep current.
Keep. Isn’t it This Image Is Not an Example?
I belong to neither Heaven nor Hell. I am a woman self-possessed.Keep current.
I'm just a psycho, babe! Come and go out my mind. I didn't lose it, babe! There wasn't much to find.Somehow didn’t get the pun until now…
But if that’s the case, I’d be fine with keeping the current.
back lolThe first words of Captain's Log are "A voiceover." Can it really be a voiceover in a purely visual medium like a comic book? Yes, there are a few examples of comic books on the page, but we might want to consider them misuse.

Welcome to Corneria! The core of the trope seems to be “recurring expository text delivered via journalistic entries”. I suspect voiceover is because it’s based out of Star Trek, and see no reason why a comic book would be excluded if it accomplishes a similar thing (compare Opening Narration’s image)
That said, I do acknowledge that ^^ lacks the recurring aspect of the trope, but I still don’t think comics are outside the scope.
11 shows the trope well, but I think I still prefer current for the reasons Star Sword gives in 7. Any comic showing this sort of thing is just basically a glorified page quote so I'd rather go with the visual pun.
So I can't think of anything right now... meh. This suggestion does have Lampshade Hanging, and implies Exposition without needing to show the actual expository text.
Original the Signature. Do not steal.I'm just a psycho, babe! Come and go out my mind. I didn't lose it, babe! There wasn't much to find.
I like 11 best.

"That's right mortal. By channeling my divine rage into power, I have forged a new instrument in which to destroy you."15
So I can't think of anything right now... meh.Personally I see nothing wrong with the current image - for instance Ironic Index has an image that has nothing to do with irony, it's a literal iron and I've yet to see it be challenged. Put on a Bus is another case; the image is of a bus while the trope itself doesn't literally involve buses (it's about characters leaving with an uncertainty of whether they'll come back), but even so the image was kept. There's loads of other examples on This Image Is Not an Example, although interestingly enough Captain's Log isn't there.
If it must be replaced, then I suppose 15 is good enough. Otherwise I'd keep current.
I'm generally not against visual puns, but if we can do better than we should. Visual puns that has something to do with the trope itself are good, for example the one on Bigger Is Better in Bed. Those that just show the trope name are meh. I especially don't like the ones on the bus tropes as they don't really add much to it. Captain's Log is somewhat better, even if only with some Fan Myopia, because at least it parodies the Trope Namer. However, we have countersuggestions, and I think that 11 works well enough to be a replacement.

Crown Description:
Captains Log
A parody of the Trope Namer, but it doesn't actually depict the trope (a voiceover of the lead character talking out a journal or diary entry at the beginning of the show).
