Misused: Put Them All Out Of My Misery

For the implied suggestion of making Woobie, Destroyer of Worlds YMMV for "villain seen by the audience as tragic and sympathetic/a woobie", we already have Cry for the Devil for that so it would be redundant.

Is a cleanup practical though when we have no clear distinction between these two tropes?

I don't think there's anything we can do until a wick check for Woobie, Destroyer of Worlds is done except maybe a weak attempt at cleanup.

I will make a wick check of Woobie, Destroyer of Worlds some time soon after the 20th when I finish all my school assignments.

Since I just clocked a few threads for a lack of activity, I figured I might as well mention that I left this thread alone because the the above post indicates that this thread should become more active soon (due to a wick check being planned to be worked on after real life obligations are out of the way).

I didn't say on the 20th, just that the 20th is when my school semester ends so I would have time after that, and I planned to do it soon after the 20th. I think I will be able to do it tomorrow.

I was in the middle of my wick check for Woobie, Destroyer of Worlds and saved my edits, but suddenly my sandbox is completely empty and everything got deleted (not just the new stuff I added, but everything). Does anyone know if this is fixable?

In case it's not fixable here is my randomized wick checks, I was only going to go up to 75 (the square root) but I copied and pasted up to 82 here in case any of these are unusable for whatever reason:

It's all still there but though I made some small tweaks (closed the bottom folder, cut the extra folder controls), none of them worked on preview.

~Molokai198 I fixed it, you had an unclosed note tag which is the usual culprit.

Unclosed note tag? I don't remember writing a note tag, maybe I copied and pasted an entry that has one? Where was the note tag and if that happens again in the future how do I fix it?

It was in an example. I think you either accidentally left it out of the copy or accidentally deleted it when writing your comment. In the future, just CTRL+F for "[[note]]" and see if there's a following close tag.

Use your browser's find tool to search for the [[note]] and [[/note]] tags and check to see if one of the two was typed incorrectly. It think the usual reason for them breaking is a typo resulting in a bracket being omitted.
