You know that crazy stuff that we all carry around inside of us? That stuff that eats little holes in your brain and churns at your insides? That stuff that you know you cannot possibly tell another living human being? ...I can tell her. And she listens, and she understands. And she says, "It's all right. It's... all... right." ...and, it is. Poof! Just like your magic, Harry! She makes my problems disappear! My anxieties subside. God's in His Heaven, and all is right in the world. There's nowhere to go but up! Look for the silver lining! Don't give up the ship! And I'll be damned if that's not what each and every one of us is looking for. And I happened to find mine, so the best of luck to the rest of you.''
- Dan Fielding, Night Court
It's one of the earliest Jerk with a Heart of Gold moments for Dan, played excellently by John Larroquette.
Today, following a minor Wiki Walk, I watched a couple of reaction/movie commentary videos for Meet the Robinsons.
"Keep Moving Forward" always hits harder with every time I remember it.
Pantheon Wick CleaningWell-crafted quotes tend to stick in my head for a while, so I have a lot. Here's one:
I soar.
I am no longer here.
I play with them on the rooftops.
I blow their hats down the street.
I tumble rags through the gutter.
I carry them off their feet.
Bottle me at your peril.
Unchain me if you dare.
No art nor craft known to your kind can tame the open air.
"You win some, you lose some. But you live...you live to fight another day!" - Mr. Jones, Friday
I don't have a gun, but this does feel important to remember when tasked with a decision difficult enough to use a gun on by yourself.
Not even stars last forever.Diane: Sometimes. Sometimes life's a bitch and then you keep living.
I like how depressingly optimistic this quote is. Hard times always comes, but it always continues you know? It always moves on from that.
Due to unfortunate events, i will continue to exist until further notice. (also i'm fluid now)The way I see it, every life is a pile of good things and bad things. The good things don’t always soften the bad things, but vice versa the bad things don’t always spoil the good things or make them unimportant.
- The 11th Doctor, Doctor Who.
There are actually a lot of good quotes from many of the Doctors, but this one stands out as one of my favorites. It is realistic. Sometimes, the good times just aren't enough to cancel out the hurt. But all the same, the good times are still there, and still important.
Probably super biased here bc she was my Earthen Heart successor, my final chapter main and my avatar here on the forums for a while, but...
"Hurts to say it... but you remind me of me. The old me... I saw what others had and hated them for it. Wondered why they deserved so much and I so little. But I had it all wrong. Most of them hadn't gotten where they were just by asking for it. And what little they'd done was only a fraction of what they'd tried to achieve. That's just how it goes. We don't always get what we want. Sometimes what we wanted was never ours to take. And sometimes all we can do is try to be better. Do the best you can and hope that it's enough in the end! Maybe that doesn't make much sense, but... but... *sigh* I've made a lot of mistakes. Still do, from time to time." —Lei Kugo's speech to Oersted after the True Final Boss, Live A Live
I dunno... something about this really stuck with me. Maybe it was Suzie Yeung's performance, or the fact that her Character Development arc resonated somewhat with me... either way, Lei's speech just hits different. (Not to say that the other two's don't, though! Hong's especially. He's such a sweetheart and so underrated! Anyway play Live A Live OKshutupReiko)
FC: SW-1445-0294-1719/PSN: TekkenGirl4Lyfe/Currently playing: Fate/Samurai RemnantI love the Rush "Freewill" lyric "If you choose not to decide you still have made a choice." I like the idea that free will isn't something you can escape from; you have it whether you like it or not.

That song is good and good for you.
I smell magic in the air. Or maybe barbecue. It's not one of my favorite Rush songs(I think some of the lyrics, like "genetic blends with uncertain ends on a fortune hunt that's far too fleet", are pretty stilted), but that line stood out to me for having a lot of meaning for such a simple statement.
Just found this one from a comment of a playlist video:
"Did you really think you would get away with it?!" "Well, it would be stupid to say 'yes', now."
-Ms. Li and Jane Lane, Daria, "Arts and Crass"
Jane's unconcerned, nonchalant reply just sells the whole scene.
"Trust dreams, trust your heart, and trust your story." - Neil Gaiman, "Instructions"
I love the whole poem, but this segment just speaks to me as the core of the whole thing.
You gonna eat that?“After every defeat, I ran around the mountain, until even shame could not keep up.” - Pantheon, League of Legends. Seriously, a lot of his quotes are really inspiring and badass.
Basically girl Beetlejuice and a big candle, but the skins are better than they sound.A dragon never yields. Even when wounded, a dragon bites down hard, and never lets go till its dying breath. It glares, it roars, and it latches its jaws firmly onto its prey till the bitter end. That's what lawyers do to get to the truth! - Dhurke Sadmadhi.
Honestly, this is probably the best quote I have heard from the AA games in my eyes. Top 10 in my eyes.
I don't want to brag or anything but when it comes to being the worst, I'm always at the top!“Never pre-order.” ~ somebody
Unless it’s a series with a continuous narrative, I have wasted so much money on media I am disappointed by. Works by the same people can also vary drastically. Maybe said people or who they work for could reveal themselves to be horrible. I’m tired of wasting money only to feel too guilty or lazy to utilize my purchase.

Pre-order's a crapshoot until you're truly sure it's a good one.
Anyway here's my favourite quote from my childhood game.
"The path of the warrior only goes forward!" ~ Zhang Liao's victory quote, Dynasty Warriors 6
Possibly to most badass quote to ever come from a warrior. He's one my favourite to play as because his moveset in DW 6 is quick, yet deadly. The quote above compliments it well.
Crazy stupid in battle. Crazy cupid on a nice date.
Our favorite shows, books, and movies often have lines that stick with us. Tell us your favorites, and maybe a bit about why you like them.
"We're human beings with the blood of a million savage years on our hands, but we can stop it. We can admit that we're killers, but we're not going to kill today. That's all it takes." - Captain Kirk, Star Trek: The Original Series
One of Kirk's best lines, I feel. He doesn't say they've evolved or matured beyond violence. He says humanity gets up and makes a conscious choice.
"I'm not Picard." - Ben Sisko to Q ( can't remember if this was when he was a commander or a captain), Star Trek: Deep Space Nine
I mean, that says it all, right there.
"Hey, bitch, you're never too old to rock and roll!" - Ritchie Tozier to It, It
Ritchie letting It know he wasn't going to just roll over and let It win.
