Suggestion: Film.The Adventures Of Buckaroo Banzai Across The8th Dimension

As I discussed in IP discussion, the current image is obviously a DVD cover, and is also kind of busy. I have two suggestions:

This is the movie poster for the movie. If we prefer a movie poster to the DVD version, this might work.

This is the DVD cover, without the MGM logo, rating, or list of actors. If we like the current cover, I'd recommend sticking with this one.

How does everyone feel? Are there other suggestions people want?

I prefer 1.1, if only because 1.2/current looks like a very obvious case of "slap a bunch of things together in Photoshop".

For the record, I prefer 1.1.

I like 1.2 better because it's so weird and cluttered. It adds to the sheer wtf factor. 1.1 looks too serious for whatever nonsense this movie is about

1.1, since I've seen it represent the film more often. 1.2 is both a weird photoshop and looks too modern.

1.1 is the nicer image and I'd vote for it if this were a serious movie, but reading the description, I get the vibe that the suckiness of 1.2 is intentional and may be more 'appropriate'.

Yeah this is a very weird movie. I watched part of it with relatives and I could barely tell what was going on.

I like 1.1 better

I agree with Synchronicity. Having watched the movie, the silliness of 1.2 represents it better.
