Let’s just get a permanent image.

Chuggaa always updates his icon to match his current LP. He doesn’t really have a “normal” icon. The pic’s been changed several times to reflect this, so we might need to do something about that.

Suggesting we just stick with his Pokémon Platinum logo:

Is there something wrong with updating the image when needed? It only seems to happen every couple of months as far as I can tell, plus he's not immortal.

I honestly don't mind changing the image with every LP.

It does feel like a weird amount of work to do for this one youtuber... is there another option?

Count me as someone who'll get annoyed if we have to fix it every two months. Perhaps a photo of him "making" a video?

Edit: There's a character sheet that tropes him as a character...being unfamiliar with the LP, is that appropriate? Maybe use that image?

I will get very annoyed if we start having rotating threads about any page. Pick one and stick the rest in an Image Links page.

Hm. Well, if we want a permanent replacement... I always thought his icon for Pokémon Colosseum looked rather unassuming and neutral.

I thought we'd just replace the image without needing a thread? Chances are nobody would be bothered then.

I'd have thought so, too, but community guidelines don't permit that.

Then can we have an exception? We got one for The Modding Tree games that are still getting updates.

I voted against it in that thread because I *knew* it would draw “my favorite work is special enough to warrant recurring replacements” arguments.

We want the most representative image, not the newest one. If all the CC themes are temporary gimmicks, then pick one; they all accomplish the same thing. If there’s a photograph or poster that’s more “timeless” that will work too. Lots of other work pages get regular updates and manage well enough without needing to replace every two months.

I'm with Piterpicher. The image has been updated with every new LP without a problem, so I don't think that needs to change now. Just keep it up to date, no threads needed.

Same here, as Synchronicity noted exceptions are a slippery slope for this kind of favoritism. I think a picture of him would work the best, since I don't think there's any "neutral" logo option.

Pick one image and stick with it. The Colosseum one works fine.

Worst comes to worst just dig up his first icon and use that.
