I would vote to expand the name to include obsessive fans of other than just main characters, but it isn't tallying my attempts to do so.

Calling in favor of expanding Loony Fan to cover fans who don't necessarily stalk their idols.
We need to update the description, but after that's done, is any wick cleanup needed, or can the thread just be closed after the description is tweaked?

Since it's expanding instead of the other way around, I'd think any wicks that are there currently are valid, ZCE aside. It needs a good description edit though.

All I did was tweak the first sentence by splitting it into two and modifying it to fit the expansion. Do we to do more or is this good enough?

I made some more changes because I'm pretty sure we agreed that the characters who are idolized don't need to be main characters, so I changed "the main characters" to just "characters", among other changes.

, I think expanding it (while it is what should be done) is going to make it run into Fangirl and Fanboy, but I feel like the issue lies with those pages and not necessarily with this one

Fanboy and Fangirl would probably need a separate thread with separate wick checks; maybe merging them with this would be an option. If they're brought to TRS, I'd imagine it would be best to tackle both in a single thread.

Right now I'm just waiting to see if anyone has any more input regarding Loony Fan's description before this thread is closed, or whether anyone thinks the thread can be closed right away.

A Loony Fan is someone who obsessively follows their idol everywhere, but actual usage of the trope includes a lot of "any crazy fan"-type examples. What should be done with Loony Fan?
It's been 3 days since the thread was opened. Is a crowner possible? Options possible:
