To be honest, that's a very loose understanding of the four fundamental forces. I'd rather say:
- Strong force: Most matter, strongest force and not distance limited but it errors out after some distance [yeah, I know it sounds contradictory but see what "confinement" means]
- Electromagnetic force: Matter with a particular polarity, can move things around.
- Weak force: Can convert things, but only within a certain distance.
- Gravitational force: Moving around anything including space-time, but rather weak.

It's hard to see how such a system wouldn't be utterly dominated by the electromagnetic magic, given how essential it is to our daily life. the strong force can just disintegrate atoms at will and release vast amounts of energy, but such magic is only threatening if the enemy mage can actually see, hear, and think. All things that an electromagnetic mage can easily stop or alter.

DOTA: Dragon's Blood inspired to put this into practise.
I think the system there (lightning = electromagnetism, void = gravity, chaos = weak interaction and order/"light" = strong interaction) suffices for the most part.
If one were to draw on the classical elements (purely on a metaphorical sense), electromagnetism = air and gravity = earth, with water getting weak force (atoms constantly splitting, chaotic properties) and fire the strong one (color force + dominant process in creating sunlight).
I even extended this into other ideas:
Any further insights?
