It's nice but iffy on the permission front, unless their art is explicitly free to use.

Yes, that was a fear of mine, but the artist said on Deviant Art, where the image first came, that people could use it as long as it were for non-financial purposes and both him and the colorist were credited. I'll still ask for a permission though.

oh hey how are you doing?Clock is set. If we are good on the permissions front then I see no issue with using OP as the main pic with proper attribution.
However, I just actually looked at the page now... Do we want to keep all those images for the subsections?
Do you think the images are polluting the page and making it unnecessarily long? I can cut some of them if necessary.
In regards to the permission, I sent an e-mail to the author, but haven't received any response yet. However, he said in here (in Portuguese, though) that he authorizes the use of the image as long as it isn't for any financial purposes and all of the creators are credited, and I've seen the image being used in other websites. Anyway, thank you for the patience, I'm still new around here.

oh hey how are you doing? It's practically a "character" page, even more so than Tarot Cards
TroperWall / WikiMagic CleanupI removed some of them, do you think is it better now? All of the ones I removed in specific were put by myself. It wasn't me who created the page, but I think moving the sub-entries to character pages wouldn't be very exploitable, since, as oral stories, most of the tropes relate to these creatures, and troping each on of them in a sub-page would either make the whole thing redundant or make the list of main tropes quite smaller. Thank you for the advices

oh hey how are you doing?I don't think images should be removed just to make the page shorter, typically the solution to length-related problems is foldering the long part, especially since this is a list of individual myths. Also, I looked up some of the removed images and they were illustrative enough to be strongly kept.

Time is subjective.Oh, thank you! My biggest concern was if they were too distractive or non-illustrative, I'm glad you liked it.

oh hey how are you doing?Good news! I talked with the author of the image and he said that as long as it isn't anything made with financial ends it's alright to use it (here it is the confirmation in Portuguese). Are we good to settle with this image then? Or does someone else have a suggestion?

oh hey how are you doing?i’m good with the image.
We don't sweep with a broom, no~Alright, done
oh hey how are you doing?...did we have consensus?
I'd like to apologize for all this. This is a "work" page image, so I think there's barely enough. Anyway, the clock's up, so locking up for now. If someone has a more concrete proposal for the individual subsections, they can be dealt with later on.
Choosing an image for a mythology or folklore page is always tricky: since they are a collection of oral stories and traditional tales, it is difficult to select an image to represent its entirety, as they are many times made by modern artists who aren't part of that culture anymore. So, I wanted your opinion about this image by Brazilian artists Eduardo Ferigato and Ricardo Riamonde; it illustrates two of the most famous beings from the country's folklore, the Saci-Pererê and the Curupira, what do you think? There are plenty of other images that illustrate more beings, but they are often made to a younger demography and thus I'm not sure if they would illustrate it very well. Any other Brazilian users (or any user savvy on Brazilian folklore) would be of great help, thank you!
