Oh, so finally the "Komi-san will never have an anime" jokes will end.
Date A Live, Restaurant to the Other World, and Yashahime are the only ones I'm interested in currently. Mostly because I enjoyed the shows they're sequels too.
Well for the non-sequel I'm excited for Mieruko, Komi, Shikizakura and Takt
For the sequel I'm excited for Mushoku and 86. Will probably watch Yashahime to find out how much of a trainwreck its going to be

For stuff that I haven't read the source of (be it new or continuing): Mushoku, 86, Ousama ranking
For stuff I'm familiar with the source: Komi, Blue period, Faraway Paladin, Mieruko-chan
For the latter, I have less of a reason to keep up with it week by week unless the adaptation is super good, I'll probably only watch the first episode of Komk and the first arc of Paladin, Blue period is a bit more uncertain since the story is good enough the reading it twice ain't a loss.
I absolutely cannot help but adore handsome 2D boysYashahime is the only one I’m gonna watch.
That’s because I’m a big Inu Yasha fan and actually enjoy Yashahime.
Okay I do prefer Inu Yasha overall to Yashahime, but that’s because I like the original protagonist group overall more, though Moroha is my second favorite character of the whole franchise.
You know, I have to wonder why Pit is obsessed with this site. It’s gonna ruin his life!More Digimon. Not related to Adventure for a change!
Harem manga. I hear mostly bad things about this one?
Uh, anyone have anything to say?
..Parallel Paradise is better?
The Main issue with world end harem is that the Mangaka seems intent on making the main lead as dumb as rocks when it comes to being on eof the few men left on earth compared to the remaining 99.9% female population, from what I recall.

Watch SymphogearWhoa Yamada at Science Saru? The trailer is looking good but given that Kyoto Animation doesn't allow their staff to take work not at their studio, it is looking likely she has left which is a definitely a Big Deal™ if true.
Cowboys vs SamuraiYeah there have apparently been rumours that her as well as others like the character designer for violet evergarden, Akiko Takase, had left kyoani. This just confirms it.
I absolutely cannot help but adore handsome 2D boysThe Tale of the Heike by Yamada at Science Saru is going to be fucking wild. Must-watch for pretty much any anime fan, I reckon.
What's precedent ever done for us?Kimetsu. Huh, I thought it'd been delayed, with how little we'd been hearing about it
I think it was similar for the movie and honestly when your franchise is that big, you can pretty much drip feed information at your pace. Also it is still a late night anime, even though most people assumed it would get an earlier time slot given its popularity and the airing of its complitation movies in said time slot. Mabye an arc in the red light district is still too hot to handle??
Cowboys vs SamuraiJapan television code, the series is very gory, too gory for prime time television. Some station did try to "negotiate" the studio to make the series more prime time friendly but got shut down.
E.T technically is a Isekai movieKimetsu is in this weird place where it is simultaneously too gory and gruesome for younger viewers yet it is extremely popular with the same age group (with the toys and merchandise that goes with it). It will still be on streaming sites regardless but good on the producers on shutting that down (let's be honest, they are probably 20+ stations and streaming sites that would have swooped in if they Fuji TV disagreed)
Cowboys vs SamuraiThat Taiwanese game adaption got delayed
EDIT: And Date A Live

MAL has made its Fall 2021 list, so it's time I say what I'll be looking forward to:
- Aquatope: From Summer 2021. It has been a slow yet somber ride so far. I hope it'll continue as the plot thickens further.
- Jahy-sama: This started rather late into Summer Cour, but so far, it has been one nice comedy. Good luck, Jahy-sama!
- SCARLET NEXUS 2nd Cour: Turns out the series is 26 episodes long. No matter! For an anime based on a video game, this one actually got be my surprise! I look forward to more stuff, more mystery, and more of Yuito and Kasane!
- Isekai Shokudou S2: Binged the first season recently, and it was scrumptious! I'm sure to see more of that here!
- 86 2nd Cour: Last cour was an emotionally harrowing trainwreck. This cour's sure to be another harrowing one!
- Blue Period: Premise seems interesting! Can't wait to see this art-filled adventure!
- Mieruko-chan: Blending the supernatural with comedy. Alright...
- Sankaku Mado: Supernatural with BL undertones? Sold! This'll certainly entertain me before Sasaki and Miyano comes by Winter!
- Kyuuketsuki Sugu Shinu: A vampire anime but with comedy, eh? Ok...
- Tsuki to Laika to Nosferatu: Another vampire anime but with some sort of drama... Ok...
- takt op. Destiny: Time to get my classical music game on!
- Platinum End: Something from the creators of Death Note, eh? This'll be fun!
- Visual Prison: Yet another vampire anime but with music (probably visual kei?)? Welp, cast list sold me, so...
- Saihate no Paladin: An obligatory fantasy anime to balance the list.
- Ousama Ranking: Another anime with an interesting premise.
- Gyakuten Sekai no Denchi Shoujo: The dystopic setting sold me. Not sure what to expect here, but I'm all ears.
Odd One Out: Heike Monogatari
This is technically for Winter, but since there's pre-airing going on, might as well add this here. For me, this is required viewing as this is technically related to my college major...

The Random Curiosity preview is out!
Sure-watch Sequels
- Isekai Shokudou: Glad to see this back. Hopefully the Food Porn gets a glow-up this time around.
- Yakunara Mug Cup mo Niban Kama: Didn’t expect this one, but this was a cozy watch.
- Yuuki Yuna: Oooooh there’s gonna be another one of this. What’s the plot gonna be though?
- 86: Ready to see the next deployment of this wartime tour-de-force.
- Mushoku Tensei: Though the MC be skeevy, it’s still a well-realized adventure fantasy.
- Muv Luv Alternative: You know I’ve watched all the Muv-Luv anime and I can barely remember who the characters are. Ah well. Still enjoyed the shows.
- Lupin: A childhood favorite, and continues to be a delightful romp. No reason to believe this new installment will be any different.
- Kimetsu no Yaiba: I have been dodging so many spoilers from the manga community. Release me from my suffering, Tanjiro.
High on the watchlist
- Heike Monogatari: Will be interesting see how much life an anime can breathe into this Japanese classic.
- Star Wars Visions: Possibly the most interested I’ve been in Star Wars outside of KOTOR.
- Hanma Baki: Hell yes I want see more of Mistah Oliva.
- Megaton Musashi: Post-apocalypse, mecha, yeah that’s my cup of tea.
- Muteking: Looks campy and flashy in a good way.
- Kyoukai Senki: It’s a Sunrise mecha anime. How can I not watch it
- Takt Op Destiny: It’s a MAPPA action anime. How can I not watch it
- Pride Of Orange: It’s a CGDCT ice hockey anime. How can I ''not'' watch it
- Sakugan: Hell yes, a dungeon-diving adventure with dieselpunk mechs.
- Rumble Garanndoll: Come on, it’s about Japan fighting back against evil parallel-universe Japan because those tyrants outlawed otaku culture. That premise sounds freaking hilarious and amazing.
- Deep Insanity: Eerie abyss that slowly breaks the minds of anyone who approaches it? Sign me up.
- Ousama Ranking: Exactly the brand of eccentricity I watch anime for.
- Build Divide: Code Black: Know what, I actually am up to watching a card-game anime. The Shadowverse game might have something to do with that.
Trying Out
- Blue Period: Been putting off reading the manga for a while now. If the anime’s good that’s how I’ll experience the story.
- Mieruko-chan: Another one where I’m debating which medium to pursue.
- Selection Project: I typically don’t bother with idol anime not named Love Live, but this might turn out pretty good with Dogakobo’s backing.
- Digimon Ghost Game: The reboot left me wanting… maybe an original story about the Digimon verse would fare better.
- Sankaku Mado no Sotogawa wa Yoru: Not into BL at all but mix that with supernatural mystery and this could be a decent watch.
- Tesla Note: Getting heavy Dcide Traumerei vibes here.
- Tsuki to Laika to Nosferatu: Would have no interest in this at all if not for the outer space component. So I’ll see how much that part factors into the anime.
- Kyuuketsuki Sugu Shinu: The vampire show that I have higher expectations for.
- Visual Prison: Aaand another vampire show. The gothic stylings are wicked, though!
- Shinka no Mi: Isekai. Main girl seems to be a gorilla. Insert lol emoticon here.
- Faraway Paladin: Another manga I haven’t gotten around to reading. Seems to do away with the more inane isekai stuff, but the issue seems to be whether the adaptation will be good.
- My Senpai Is Annoying: Short and sweet.
- Shikizakura: Seems to fall under the action-adventure umbrella a lot of 3DCG anime go after.
- Blade Runner: Not gonna lie, it doesn’t look good… hoping first impressions are mistaken.
Not watching
Hanyou no Yashahime, Gensou Sangokushi, pharmacy-based isekai with a long-ass name, assassin-to-aristocrat isekai, Komi-san Can’t Communicate, Platinum End, Harem of the End, Taishou Otome Otogibanashi, World Trigger.
Holy shit, what a banger of a season. My free time is sweating buckets.

Isnt Chainsaw Man this Autumn? Imma watch that.
Isnt Chainsaw Man this Autumn? Imma watch that.
Nope. No known date. I'd expect Spring
pharmacy-based isekai with a long-ass name
Huh? Is this different than the one currently airing?
Yep, it’s a different one. I was confused for a bit, too.
Normally I'd wait until a week or so after we'd run out of premieres, but that'd mean waiting until nearly September this time
