Well, in my head it was going to be sent by the system so to speak. I don't think anyone would want their inbox to be flooded with 20+ welcome messages everyday. People have other resource to use for questions so I don't think they need to interact with an actual person.

The former but it's all the same really. The latter doesn't have an actual account so we can't just put system in the herald title.

I know it's probably a bit more difficult to code up, but perhaps we can have all the replies to the PM end up as posts in a thread? With the PM saying to keep an eye on that thread for replies-to-replies?
