This thread is meant to be a place for people to ask questions and request discussion about existing page images they have concerns about; this can be used to determine if a thread should be made to replace an image.
For example, questions about Just a Face and a Caption concerns, whether a picture requires additional context, whether a picture demonstrates all of the necessary aspects or a trope, or whether a trope better demonstrates a related trope can be asked here.
I'll probably sound like a Victorian prude, but Adaptational Skimpiness is very weak to me. It's technically an example of the trope, but it amounts to "Harley in the Arkham Games has a revealing fanservice outfit that leaves little to the imagination, while in the comics she had a skin-tight fanservice outfit that leaves nothing to the imagination."
We can easily find a stronger contrast
Adaptational Skimpiness seems to be more strongly about how much of the body is covered in the new take, regardless of whether or not the outfit/character is fanservicey in either version (I presume that's what you mean by 'leaves to the imagination'). Skimpy =/= fanserviceyExample So a suit that fully covers the body replaced with a cleavage-baring crop top and miniskirt illustrates fine, even if she's sexy in both.

Adaptational Skimpiness also notes that it doesn't necessarily have to be done for fan service
Where is Mummy Media from? I can't find the source anywhere.
Fan-Preferred Couple cleanup thread^ Google says The Mummy (2017).

Okay linked it.
Fan-Preferred Couple cleanup threadDoes Expendable Clone show the clone part well? It just seems like the same character going through a montage where he get repeatedly thrown into trash cans and dumpsters.
I'm just a psycho, babe! Come and go out my mind. I didn't lose it, babe! There wasn't much to find. Can't see any blood in Heal It with Blood?

I'm just a psycho, babe! Come and go out my mind. I didn't lose it, babe! There wasn't much to find.I brought that up before but forgot to make a thread for it. That one's bad.
Re: Adaptational Skimpiness, it does work - her outfit did get more revealing in the adaptation - but I'm sure a better example is possible, since, as you said, it's only a marginal amount of skin showing, and her OG outfit was so scalp-to-toe covering that showing any skin would be Adaptational Skimpiness. I wouldn't pull without a replacement but I'm certain a better replacement exists.
Goths Have It Hard shows self-harm. Is that against policy?
Am I the only one who thinks that Once Upon a Time would work better with an image where we could see the words easier?
Fan-Preferred Couple cleanup threadNope. Why would it be put at a slant?
I'm just a psycho, babe! Come and go out my mind. I didn't lose it, babe! There wasn't much to find.....because it's showing an actual open book? I like the shot composition on it personally.
I like the idea but I found something that is similar but shows the "once" more clearly. Started a thread
Fan-Preferred Couple cleanup threadIs Winning Over the Kids illustrative? All I see is a couple lying next to their kids.
Why so serious? No it doesn't illustrate, I know the context and it's adorable (she and the guy are actually just starting to fall in love and she's just found out he's a widower and his kids really like her, there's a bit of Kids Play Matchmaker going on from the older daughter). But none of that comes across in the image.

I'm having trouble understanding Fire And Water Juxtaposition. To me, it's just two people standing next to the elements, the narrative caption making it lean on JAFAAC.
Also, there's no indication that the "fire" person on Fire/Ice Duo is actually a fire person, he's just red. I might be being a bit nitpicky though, so what do you guys think?
My plan is to trick you into thinking this is my signature when it’s not, then confuse you dead. Doubting my plan? Then it's working!
Fire And Water Juxtaposition: Both are in an arms-out pose, but the backdrops clearly suggest a contrast to me.
Fire/Ice Duo: Fire guy does have fire on his head, and even if he didn't, I can assume he has fire powers since, as you said, he's dressed in red.
back lolIs Fire Is Masculine illustrative enough? I can tell Zuko is male but I'm not sure if the photo really portrays him as manly or the fire being a product/metaphor for his manliness.
If all else fails, use fire. It's transitive (A <—> B, B <—> C, therefore A <—> C), as that's the nature of the trope (for better or worse). He looks passionate/angry/aggressive, which are traits that the description associates with both masculinity and fire.
I think the image is fine.
135 - 169 - 273 - 191 - 188 - 230 - 300Is there a specific reason Monster.Video Games has two frames instead of one? The thread doesn't seem to have addressed this.

I've uploaded a less artifacted PNG but it is still a bit jaggy in Night Mode.
