Please go through these pages first before posting here:
- Work Pages Are a Free Launch: Yes, you can go and make a work page for something by yourself. This thread will also cover work page subpages (Characters/, Recap/, etc.) and Creator/ pages.
- How to Create a Work's Page: The basics on work page making, covering most things from the needed URL to putting the final touches on it.
- How to Collect Tropes: A simple guide on filling out your work page's examples section.
- How to Write an Example: How to write a good trope entry and avoid site no-nos like Zero-Context Example and incorrect Example Indentation.
Now that you've read all that, welcome! Making pages for your favorite works and creators is fun, but we get that there's a learning curve, especially for new tropers. This thread is intended to help people new to work-page making, and can cover anything and everything you aren't sure about after reading the relevant Administrivias: whether or not an example passes wiki standards, if the formatting and layout of your page is all right, if the summary is comprehensible, or if the page has enough meat to stand by itself. Or simply if you need a second pair of eyes to take a look at your work.
Things that this thread is not:
- A place to request work pages to be made - This Is a Wiki; if you are familiar with the work, then you are the best person to make the page. This thread is intended to be a peer review of work pages that are in progress or newly finished. If you feel like a work deserves a page but can't go about making it yourself for whatever reason, please list it in List of Shows That Need Summary.
- For help with trope-making: see the Trope Idea Sounding Board (for incipient ideas) and the TLP workstation thread (for existing drafts) for help on that.
- For image selection: you can generally go and put up an image of the work by yourself (go through How to Pick a Good Image first, though), but if you have two or more suggestions, pop by Image Pickin instead.
Now - post your babies (sandboxes, new pages, TLP drafts, etc).! We are here to help. :-)

Alright, so here is my draft for ComicBook.Elsewhere:
https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Sandbox/ComicBookElsewhere
Problem is, it turns out there’s a Literature page under the Elsewhere name. Should both just go under the same name, just different namespaces, or should we add years or other disambiguation to the titles of both works to avoid confusion?
Edited by StarManatee on Jan 22nd 2024 at 5:21:33 PM
He/Him | Elsewhere (2017)You usually disambiguat if there's two or more works with the same name. Usually you use years to disambig them but if they were released in the same year, using the creators' names instead will do.
Victor of HGS S320 | "There's rosemary, that's for remembrance. Pray you, love, remember."Ah, thank you. So should we rename Literature.Elsewhere to Literature.Elsewhere 2005

He/Him | Elsewhere (2017)NP and pretty much. If you want to preserve the original page's history while moving it, request a mod to move the page on the Requests for Page History Moves thread. You'll still have to move the wicks to the new namespace yourself however.

Victor of HGS S320 | "There's rosemary, that's for remembrance. Pray you, love, remember."My draft for Arab American Creators is here. Feel free to add more. Those are the ones that come to my mind.
She/Her | Currently cleaning N/AI would seperate it by creation, like authors, actors, voice actors, video game designers etc
Just launched my first Music/ page, Twin Tribes. I still have some examples in progress in my personal to-do list but I believe it's presentable in its current state.
Any advice for me since this is the first time I tackled making something in the Music/ namespace would be appreciated, thanks!
Creepypasta cleanup got two major pages for JTK and SlenderI'm just finishing a music page of my own - Kneecap Band.
Note that this contains very strong language and some politics. That's pretty much the band's trademark.
Any feedback?
Hoping to get this live in a good state before their biopic (which just won the Sundance festival audience award) gets a full release and there's a surge of interest in them.
Edit: Launched as Kneecap (Band)

I already did that now. I just only know actors who are of Arabic decent. The others (authors, directors, musicians) are ones that I am not too familiar with.
She/Her | Currently cleaning N/ALet's see other potential additions
Tony Shalhoub another actor, Lebanese descent
Owiso Odera yet another actor
I'll keep editing as I find more
You should add a specific list of Arab countries
Here's a few countries that have work pages that could help

Hello, I just made a Web Video Page for Youtube D&D creator Pointy Hat, and right now, it's a stub. I have college and a part-time job to juggle, so I can't do this all by myself. Would anyone be willing to help me, please?
The page is here: https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/WebVideo/PointyHat
Given that there's a separate TLP workstation thread, any objection if we amend the pinned post to make that more prominent (it's already mentioned in passing) and try to actively send TLP drafts that way?
I am planning to add a new work page. Since it's my first time, I'd like someone to take a look at the draft and see if it's publishable in its current form. Here is the draft : https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Sandbox/Solarius
Please ignore the "Aesthetics" part (he one at the end with the strike marker). I don't exactly know where I will post it, but it definitely won't be on the work page.
I'm a bit worried that most of the examples are too long. Truth to be told, I took the final rule of How to write an example at heart, and since I loved the game, I wrote about what was important to me and how, while trying to remain, if not succinct, at least pertinent.
Seems mostly fine from a skim, though two examples (Cute Monster Girl and Bottomless Pit) could use more context.
Currently Working On: Incorruptible Pure PurenessIt looks like the Music page for New Model Army was cut as a stub in 2021.
I've just relaunched it with a few new examples, taking a copy of the deleted stub as a starting point. They've got a long history and a lot of releases, so plenty of scope for more tropes to be added.
About to do a bit more crosswicking to get things started.
All feedback is welcome.
Anime.Shinkansen Henkei Robo Shinkalion Change The World has its description plagiarized from Fandom, which in turn is a translation of the official summary. It needs to be rewritten.
Art Shift and Kid Hero also lack context, so the page is a stub as well.
Perhaps creating the page until there are more information was premature.

TroperWall / WikiMagic CleanupPartygate is slowly taking shape as a sandbox.
As a docudrama mixing fictional characters with real news footage, it's an interesting one to trope.
As a one-hour standalone docudrama, I'm assuming it counts as a Made-for-TV Movie and goes under Film namespace.
I recently created a sandbox page for Lore Rekindled, a webcomic I've been reading for a while. Since this is a rewrite of Lore Olympus what should it be in: Fan Works or Web Comics?
She/Her | Currently cleaning N/ABumping my question ?
She/Her | Currently cleaning N/AFor namespace, Webcomic/. For crosswicking... well, I'm not too sure myself either.
Creepypasta cleanup got two major pages for JTK and SlenderI feel that I need help with the Characters page for Juno Songs which was reccently created due to the sheer amount of characters and tropes. I don't think I can do this on my own. The following needs to be done. -Images and relevant Tropes for the characters, which is alot -Alphabetical sorting -The one-time appearances needing to be split due to the potentially high amount of Tropes -Cleanup, if any
I can index the page and do Bowser once I get back to my laptop after lunch, which will be a while.

~K1rby69 The pages have already been cutlisted by someone, which is correct because there's nothing to work with (the "sheer amount of tropes" being zero). This thread is for when someone needs help proof-reading, not to do the work for them. Also, Characters/ pages are for grouping Characterization Tropes, preferably by moving them from the work page, not to have a cast list for the sake of it.
You can work on Sandbox.Juno Songs, but finding tropes is your responsibility because it's the minimum.
TroperWall / WikiMagic Cleanup
Not exactly a work per se, but I want to launch a page for Arab-American creators. As such, I want to include all Arabic identities so useful sources on that?
