So, Fernando actually did do a grammar check. I'm not sure how much of a sweep we need, especially since another was done two days ago.

Can we just post it? I think it's fine, and I'm honestly getting a bit tired of having it be delayed this long each month. I think it's been ready for days.

At this rate, if we keep delaying release of an AF edition, we could go the Self-Deprecation route next year.

I was wondering if we could use a schedule that can indicate when we should accept and add entries into the Dummy Edition sandbox, and when grammar checking should take place, such as on the 25th of each month. That way, we can reduce the Schedule Slips from 10 days down to 2 or 3 days.

We could also use the bulletins to advertise for more contributors and grammar checkers.

Gonna be a normal month this time, but since TV Tropes will be 20 years old this year in April, maybe we could use the China anniversary as one of the subthemes, like for a New or Obscure Tropes entry?

Before May starts I want to take a second to laugh at the silly lore we created in the April issue. Trope-Tan is plugging A Trope Kilowicked Love, a self-insert fic in which she is the love interest. But it deepens; I introduced myself as Trope-Tan in the bio which means that Trope-Tan is me. And as we all know, I got banned for offensive material.

Make of this what you will.

Anyway, I'll find some fun stuff to add in a bit.

I think Mailbox Baseball could use some spotlight, if that can be part of May; it's only got 24 wicks and has existed since 2021.

I've got a question to ask: Could a television be considered an Older/Obscure Work if it began in say, the 70s, but is currently on-going?

I guess I don't see why not, though ideally it'd be one that isn't super popular (so that'd rule out stuff like Scooby Doo, The Simpsons, Doctor Who, Kamen Rider, etc)

Left some errors in the Trope-tan fic for Stylistic Suck.^note Mostly punctuation, especially in/around quotes; also quote capitalization ("wait a minute"), a run-on sentence ("Surely that must be a mistake[…]"), and a tense shift at the end.
