Needs Help: Didnt Want An Adventure

This image◊ was downvoted in the Image Suggestion thread. Other ideas or suggestions?

Opened...I didn't think it was bad paired with the caption, but something more clear would be better.

Pinging ~SkyCat32, as they said they had an alternate suggestion.

I think John's expression, plus the fact that he is bloodied and hanging from a firehose, says it all. The caption is the icing on the cake now.

Not really feeling any of the suggestions.

The trope isn't "somebody doesn't want an adventure".

The trope specifically is, during an adventure when something bad happens, somebody says words like "I didn't want to do THIS, I wanted to go <someplace else> instead! But nooooo, YOU had to..."

So none of the images here really work. to that, and this trope probably needs TRS too.

Maybe I can suggest the images for Badass Unintentional instead?

That would be Jafaac if not for the speech bubble. I am not sure it does enough to demonstrate the image.

EDIT: That's why I pointed out the background and his face, and I acknowledge that they don't add much. This is at best a better-than-nothing suggestion.

FWIW, there's a graphic novel version of the former trope namer/current page quote. Could be an improvement depending on how much you think the fiery background and his facial expression add

The more I look at these, the less I like them. What's the previous panel for the Frozone suggestion? Does it give more context?
