Welcome to HGS: Another Side Another Story. It is a roleplay spinoff for the Hunger Games Simulator forum game, akin to both the RP's in the Roleplaying section as well as the ITTs in Forum Games. It tells the story of the Hunger Games in the Arena of Panem, the nominators who sent the tributes, the tributes themselves both in and out of the Arena or even other people relevant to the Games. In addition, it also tells their stories beyond the Arena.
You can jump right in with any character, like your nominator self, your tributes, etc. The structure of this RP will be open-world. Don't worry about not being skilled/experienced enough or being new to RP'ing. Finally, ASAS accepts any skill level or RP style. Other than these, there are some important rules to note, which are:
- No godmodding will be allowed or tolerated here. The offending player will be given punishment depending on the severity.
- Please communicate anything important you plan on another player with the said player first. Don't just execute it without their consent.
- Don't be rude to other players, both out and in-universe. This extends to RP offenses like railroading, guilt-tripping, coercing, or other forms of forcing them.
- This RP is related to the Hunger Games Simulation:Beyond the Possibilities forum game. Thus it will have events based from that game, including the tributes. This means if you want to RP as tributes, please nominate them officially on the thread first, with misses not being counted. This has to be done after an incident with a player who hasn't joined the game itself yet.
- Since this RP is Loose Canon in relation to the main HGS thread, the host's interpretation of events isn't necessarily 100% canon. Every player has the right to deviate from what the host says and go with their own interpretations. If multiple players have their tributes involved in the same event(s), please communicate with each other so that you're on the same page regarding how you see them.
- This RP chronicles the lives of the nominators and their tributes behind the scenes. While dark plots are acceptable, the overall tone of the RP should be light-hearted and comedic. This RP is not a Cosmic Horror Story or action story about defeating evil. It is a Slice of Life comedy with some adventure to it, first and foremost. Our previous RP, Convergence, is not representative of the intended tone, and the grimdark tone of that RP is one of the main reasons it was retooled.
- Nominators and tributes alike can transform into Pokemon whenever they enter a Pokemon Mystery Dungeon World (but they can bypass this with certain items/methods or shapeshifting) or via other means outside it such as a season event, Transformation Trinkets, or shapeshifting. The players are free to choose the Pokéforms that best suit their characters and even give them color schemes outside the standard and Shiny colors, but there is a hard rule for this. If you want your character's Pokéform to be a Legendary, Mythical, or Ultra Beast, please ask the RP mods for approval. Outside the Arena, these Pokéforms are still OP, but we want to give leeway for tributes who theoretically can have them such as deities.

Detective Gamechanger's Base
A sharp-dressed man in a green suit and yellow tie is standing by the entrance of the base. He is of average height and has whitish skin, though still a bit darker. He is Billy, one of the nominators and the organizer of the party.
Indeed, after the nominators' returned and settled their problems, they decide to have fun with a party. Billy also sent invites for all the other nominators out there, as well as basically anyone else, including tributes, non associated parties, interested nominators who haven't participate yet, or even those who just wants to hang out.
The place itself in the base is refurbished for party purposes. Fancy chairs and tables are set everywhere for people to relax, as well as put food and other objects for the latter. There's also various collections showcased, including those belonging to the Detective, like his classic cars. Various themes to the base are set too, including detective noir as GC would have preferred.
Billy is now awaiting for other guests to arrive. He is also ready to give them a pleasant surprise during the party pertaining to his nation.

Night 1
That night, Murasaki argues with Data Bismuth that water is wet.
"Duh, of course it is! Why don't ya go ask Lapis about it when she comes back from her mission?"
Meanwhile, after changing out of her Cupid costume, Ariel wheels her fishbowl around to chase the Totally Scary Image into an elevator, but the doors close on her right after the image enters it.
As for Rhodonite, she thinks of the balls held back in Homeworld and how she was never invited to any of them, so she decides to host one of her own. She finds an abandoned multipurpose hall and fixes it up with the fanciest decorations she can think of, and then sends out the invites. She then tries not to fidget at the entrance as she welcomes her guests.
"Uh... welcome to the Panem Ball! We'll have lots and lots of dancing all night long! H-Hope you enjoy your stay!"
Queen enters the room and looks around. She then makes a hearty laugh.

As she and the other guests take to the dance floor and make their own wacky moves to the Sumerian Dog Joke, Michael Scott, and Vivian's cover of "Swingin' the Alphabet", Rhodonite freaks out and feels tempted to "correct" them, as she was taught by Morganite. However, she manages to keep herself together by remembering that this Gem Era she's living in is an Era where she can doesn't have to stick to the rules.
Day 2
The next day, Morgan makes an announcement that everyone "lives in a society", and he wants to see more bloodshed.
Coming Right Up LMAO says Queen as she and Ariel fend off a monster with the help of the others by playing loud trash metal for it.
"We can use instruments that aren't made of ocean pollutants, you know..." says Ariel as she bangs her trashcan lids together, anyway.
Meanwhile, Derrick finds a pink wig and blue eye contacts and puts them on. He then looks at himself in the mirror and tries gobbling it up like Kirby.
As for Rhodonite, she organizes a search party for Four and tries leading them to him, but they get lost on the way. Bismuth, on the other hand, can't wrap her head around how the Dog Joke is somehow a clone of her.
Underground Bunker
Bezier stands next to Power to let Heart compare their heights, and true enough, the former's only 1-2 inches taller than his counterpart.
"Were ya thinking that I'd be as big and bulky as Macareina 'fore I showed up?" asks Bezier.
"Uh, not really..." says Power, "I imagined that you were half a head taller than me at most!"
"Well, what other differences do the ponies of your Equestria have besides their genders?" asks Heart.
"Hmm... events mostly transpired the same way despite that." Bezier shrugs.
"I see..." says Power, "I read some fanfics of your world where Equestrian society was drastically changed just because everyone's genders were reversed. They're quite... a read, really."
"Whoa... maybe I'll check them out someday, but first, where's the party? Can you lead me there?"
"Of course, Bez! It's right this way!" says Power as she starts trotting back to the Rec Room.
"I just want what everyone else has, that's all."

(Oscar looks at the book they had been hiding in.)
...I think we can make it work. This book isn't THAT small. (He says. At this point he feels that Lucian desperately needs to be within reach of Aaron, and he himself doesn't want to be separated from Aaron and June for too long either.)

ZDR (Caves)
I can do that, but I bet they ain't gonna like it if we get back to 'em and they see ya not still chained up. (Knox says.)
(Then again, Blood Moon doesn't appear to be in a state to do too terribly much at the moment.) We gonna keep him under control if we unchain him? (Knox asks Fire Eyes.)
"Hey, gimme a minute to get to know everyone, 'kay, Brainy?" "Of course, but please allow me to get a word in, too, bzz."

Arena
After Morgan accepted that Interstate 90 made a poop about Pokémons, he managed to bump with Ariel. It's unknown what he did to piss her off, but he was very good at it. Perhaps a bit too much, as she ended up slapping him in the face, with enough strenght to make him trip.
"OW! Ksss! The bratty princess shows her true colors, heh? Daddy would be disappointed in you!" Morgan rudely said before running away.
ZDR caves
Fire Eyes turned toward Knox.
"Whenever he recovers completely, he will be able to free himself. In the meantime... we should keep him chained, just in case." he said.
"Are you serious?? Fire Eyes, I said I-" Blood Moon exclaimed between coughs.
"have you forgotten what you've done in the first place?? You tried to kill the people who were fighting against Raven Beak. You tried to kill me, Blood Moon. Unless it is necessary, I will take cautions with you, whether you like it or not." Fire Eyes sternly said.
Blood Moon stared furiously at Fire Eyes, but sighed in defeat. He wasn't in the mood to argue.
"....So it is you... What Knox said..."
"What Knox said was true, yes. I owe my life to him and the 'Brijes." Fire Eyes said. Blood Moon looked away for a moment, not saying anything.
Dark Stanford's lair
"I think so too. Hold on just a second..." Aaron said, trying to land on the book by Oscar and Lucian.
"Okay... I think there's just enough space for you, June."
"One last tango, 47."

Night 2
That night, Ariel overhears Rattus Rattus and the Metalucy Children arguing over whether the Cupid costume she wore the other day was yellow and white or black and blue. She approaches them and quickly corrects them that it was purple.
"Oh right... it's true! 100% accu-rat!" says Rattus Rattus.
Meanwhile, Data Bismuth hikes up a mountain to set up camp by the cliffside. The climb is no sweat, both literally and figuratively, and she remarks that at least it's not raining. Right after saying that, she's drenched in the downpour and she turns her hands into grappling hooks so she won't slip.
Queen, on the other hand, works together with Toya, whom she met at Rhodonite's ball, and several other tributes to break the world record for the world's largest snowcone. She looks up the previous records online and wonders how the Forcefield still manages to fit each snowcone, despite the tributes still being flung into its borders. She laughs it off and runs Celebration.EXE when her team breaks the record, and she simply enjoys watching the others eat it.
As for Derrick, he goes up to Fleet, still in his bad Kirby disguise, and revs up his tail to start a fight, but Fleet covers her fox nose and runs away. Derrick smells himself and scratches his head, wondering if his stench alone counted as a fight move since Mr. Stenchy can clear the room of all his enemies with his.
Elsewhere, Rhodonite thinks of doing limbo, but she suddenly thinks of walking on hot coals while doing so.
"Nonononono! I'm gonna get burned!" Rhodonite yells to herself, but then she tells herself, "No wait... I'm half-Ruby! I should be fireproof like that Garnet! L-Let's see what happens if I try that!"
She sets up the place for her advanced limbo trick and goes lower and lower while firewalking, but although she still screams despite her fireproofing, she wins the challenge with only a few burn marks.
"Okay... that wasn't so bad... but I'm not gonna try that again for a while!"
Day 3
The next day, Ariel encounters Morgan, who insults her Cupid costume, even if she's not wearing it at the moment. She picks up some roast turkey that's conveniently nearby and whacks him several times with it.
"There weren't any other good clothes in the Cornucopia, alright?!"
Meanwhile, Rhodonite spots a mosquito buzzing near her and screams as she flails her arms about to try shooing it away, but it dodges her and keeps hovering close to her head. She then runs off to find some mosquito netting and wraps it all over her body, only to realize that she can't move her arms around.
"HELP MEEEEE! I TRAPPED MYSELF IN THIS PROTECTIVE WRAPPING!"
Elsewhere, Derrick and Data Bismuth run into each other near two grand pianos, and the former lifts his piano up like it's light as feather.
"Oh, I can do better than that!" says Data Bismuth as she effortlessly lifts hers higher above her head, and the two smash their pianos at each other, kicking up a lot of dust and making the piano keys fly everywhere. Both of them fall to the ground, but they get up with barely a few scratches and laugh it off.
As for Queen, finds a pumpkin spice latte and checks the signature on its side.

"I'm on it!" Amethyst tells Greta as she flings Flicky towards Wanda to finish the clone off.
Despite Veena warning those fighting Rikuo to dodge, Lapis instead dives towards the clone after seeing it hitting Dick. After finding an opening, she tries to grab two of Rikuo's tentacles to tie them together while CAC and Elfin go in for the kill.
Meanwhile, Pearl watches the Sidon clone closely as she fights it, looking for a weak spot to precisely strike with her trident. Once Cleo is able to freeze the clone, Pearl tries piercing it there.
Garnet, on the other hand, beckons to Arthur and Freyja to help her fight Imhotep. She then prepares to unleash to her Rapid-Fire Fisticuffs on the clone, taking care not to break her teammates' bubbles.
Steven, Connie, and Bismuth gasp upon hearing that the "clones" they're fighting are actually corrupted prisoners. They don't know who they are, but Bismuth turns her hands into drills and tries carving a hole in the floor to drain the toxic liquid clay made by the plastic orbs, while Steven puts up his shield to protect Connie from the centipede's flames.
"Man, I wish I could feed you some Chaaaps right now..." Steven tells the giant bug.
"We can think about feeding it later!" says Connie. "We need to separate these prisoners from the clones first!"
"But how?!"
"I'll see if I can think of something, but let's help the others pull them away!"
They join Henry, Tenn, and the Cat Rookie in doing just that.
Outside
"What Saheeli said was what I was trying to get at with my suggestion," Peridot tells Ashley.
She then follows Rivet closely as the Gem tinkers with her own Atomozoid, even making it wear a copy of her triangular shades, just like with her personalized Robonoids.
"Just to ensure the security of these robots, I'll add more lines of code that's reverse-engineered from the technology used back in Homeworld. The Mawkin know how advanced we are on that, and combined with your programming, Rivet, any hackers on their side won't stand a chance! Other than that, I think we're almost ready unless you guys still have other ideas. Thoughts?"

Stacy: (Sees that Fleet managed to get away from Derrick) Yay! I know Derrick is 6k1's tribute, but it's awesome that Fleet got away from him before he could hurt her. Neither died... so far, anyway! (Shapeshifts into Tina and wags her tail)
Jimmy: You're definitely a Distaff Counterpart of CAC, he also shapeshifts into his fox form to support the heroic or neutral foxes in the seasons.

Nothing else here. (Ben says from inside one of the other Atomozoids.) Looks pretty cool with those shades, though.
Front Hall
(Driven back through the combined efforts of the FBW, Freyja, Garnet, and Zuma, but not out yet, the Imhotep clone starts attacking with what looks like a sandstorm, but it instead seems to be made up of glitchy fragments of who knows what (Zuma figures it's probably best not to think about what it is). People who get caught up in it will start to have their movement slowed.)
We have to get past this sandstorm or we'll have trouble stopping him! (Zuma says.)
(Tenn notices this and turns to Henry.) Hen, we've got enough help here. We'll keep trying to separate these two from the others. You go try to help get that stuff out of their way. (She suggests.)
Splendid idea, Tenn! But be careful yourselves! (Henry says.)
(The Flygon flies over and begins flapping his wings with all his might to try to dispel Clone!Imhotep's glitchy sandstorm. Given Henry's strength, but also the fact that this is a clone of a genuinely supernatural being, the dust that Henry kicks up and the glitchy fragments kicked up by the clone creates something of a small dustbowl made up of sand and glitchy fragments. Nevertheless, it seems that Henry has Clone!Imhotep's undivided attention.)
Let's try to sneak up behind this clone while it's distracted! (Zuma tells the others.)
(The two mutants struggle to get past Tenn and the others as they try to move them back, the centipede-like one spewing more flames (with Tenn no longer afraid of them and just dodging them where she can, responding by threateningly pinching her claws in their direction) and the bubble-like one emitting a strange shockwave that would give everyone close to it a brief headache.)
(Seeing Zuma trying to lead those fighting the Imhotep clone around behind it to sneak up on it gives July an idea.)
We can sneak up behind them like what they're doing over there. (July says.) I hate to have to hurt them, but...
Sure, July, but we gotta be careful! (August says.)
(July thinks of June again and starts leading their group around to behind the mutants.)
(The Overdrive severely slows down Clone!Rikuo and causes it to collapse. It makes a last ditch effort to grow to the size of a whale, but CAC and Elfin's combined efforts finish the clone off and it implodes.)
(Wanda fires off a shot from her arm cannon and hits the Flicky clone like a skeet. The clone explodes into a bunch of tiny glitchy fuzzy birds that scatter without trying to hurt anybody else.)
BULLSEYE! (Wanda says.)
Brilliant shot, Pr-...I mean Swimming Fish. (Sidon says.)
You can still just call me Wanda at this point, ya goof. (Wanda laughs.)
Oh, I apologize, Princess Wanda! (Sidon says.) Let's see if we can help Chief Cleo and Pearl.
(They move over to where Cleo and Pearl are still fighting Sidon's clone. Wanda can't help but feel like it's times like this that she wishes she could copy the powers of others, or else she would copy Cleo's form and assist the real Cleo with Cleo's psychokinetic powers.)
(Nevertheless, the Sidon clone does get slowed down enough that Pearl is able to damage it. It's still standing, though.) B-B-B-B-B-B-BELIEVE IN-...WATERBLIGHT G-G-G-G-G-G-
(The real Sidon, seeing earlier that Clone!Rikuo was hampered considerably by the electricity, realizes that, of course! His own glitchy clone must be as susceptible to electricity as he and any other Zora is.) We must find a source of electricity to deal with my own clone!
Well, I've got my lightning, I just dunno if using it right now in this suit would hurt me. (Wanda says.)
Then by all means LEAVE it so you will not hurt yourself, Wanda. (Cleo says.)
Right, duh, of course! (Wanda says, exiting the Power Suit.) Sides, how about I charge electricity through you and Pearl's spears so that they're electrified next time you try to strike?
That might hurt us, especially me, Princess Wanda...but maybe not if we've already thrown our spears at my clone! (Sidon says.) But we should be sure that Pearl's could conduct electricity, too.
Then when the time is right, you both throw your spears at the clone of Sidon and Wanda will charge power through them as they fly toward it. (Cleo says.)
Looniveristy Room
Okey dokey! (June says, sliding into place.) Hey, this book feels nice, doesn't it?
Yeah... (Oscar agrees. Even if they're a bit crowded on the pages, the four of them being all together in the same spot does make Oscar feel a little better.)
Caves
Believe me now, ya varmint? (Knox says.) Besides, with how much ya Mawkin hate the way the nominators clone people, do ya think Fire Eyes would be as calm as he is now if he knew he was a clone?
(With the decision made to keep Blood Moon restrained, Knox turns to Fire Eyes.) So where to from here? (Knox asks, still throwing the occasional stern look at Blood Moon.)

On Night 3, Morgan got spotted by Rough alongside two other tributes, the Morgrem likely messing with them. He still posted a photo of them, with a caption saying they were an iconic trio.
The next day, Morgan came across a fight between Scourge and Michelle. He grinned.
"HEY!! You cretins!! Stop fighting or I'll kill you myself, do your stupid brains understand that???"
To his dismay, they both obeyed him, disappointing him. Morgan had hoped that he would have kill them when they were exhausted enough.
Dark Stanford's lair
"Gah!" Nick cried out when Imhotep defended himself with his strange sandstorm, forcing everyone to retreat, while James and Arthur missed their projectiles.
"Oh Henry!" James exclaimed as Henry tried to dispel the sandstorm. The team used that opportunity to go around the clone.
"Now's our chance. Attack!" Freyja shouted, rushing toward the mummy, she and Nick used Focus Blast, while James and Arthur resumed their attacks.
"Good idea. You and I take care of the bubble one. Alex, August, take care of the insectoid one." Tokage said.
"Sure thing!!" Alex said.
"Remember. We just knock them out." Tokage urged, he and Alex ready to strike once behind.
"Okay. 3... 2... 1... Go!!"
"EYAHAHA!! Good riddance!!" Scipion cackled at Rikuo's defeat.
"Boss!! There are still bad guys around!!" Onox exclaimed. Scipion turned towards Sidon's clone and grinned.
"Electricity, heh? In that case... LET'S GET THAT FISH!!" Scipion said. Onox used Thunderbolt at Sidon while Scipion used Sludge Bomb.
"It's not too bad." Aaron said to June.
"You're doing okay, you two?" he then asked Oscar and Lucian.
Lucian, still stressed, looked slightly better too. He quietly nodded before closing his eye.
ZDR caves
"...So I did try to kill him..." Blood Moon grunted before lowering his gaze.
"Blood Moon... Once this is over, we have a lot to talk about." Fire Eyes sighed before turning toward Knox.
"I don't know if we should let Blood Moon enter, he could try to eat the prisoners you are looking for... But Veena and the others need us." Fire Eyes said, also staring at Blood Moon. The corrupted Chozo kept his gaze lowered until he heard that.
"...Really...? Urgh... Have you forgotten... about the X I spawned?"
"We'll have to find a way to hunt them down, hopefully with the Metroid Veena and her friends are rescuing. Or perhaps Raven Beak already sent one of his Metroid abominations to hunt them down as well. I doubt it would be in his interest to let them run rampant. In either case, we must check things out on the way to the fortress."
Blood Moon looked at Fire Eyes, then all around himself, for some reason.
"...No."
"No? What do you mean, no?? Blood Moon, you caused this. You will help us-" Fire Eyes said.
"That's not what I meant... Something... Something is off. Way too off..." Blood Moon panted. Grunting in pain and letting out strange, eldritch noises, as if he was struggling to breathe, he started to walk away, following the same path as the nominators leading outside. Fire Eyes was quick to catch up with him, though. It wasn't hard, considering he was slowly walking, and had his hands still locked.
"Blood Moon, what ar you talking about??" Fire Eyes asked.
"A feeling... Come..." Blood Moon muttered.

Ronny glared at everyone else. He wasn't happy over the disrespect shown at Haban and Arrow, but he's nice enough to hear them out at least.

Night 2
That night, Queen recalls directing a horror B-movie with the other royals in S220 and thinks of making another one. She meets up with Daphne, who may or may not be the embodiment of Pestilence, and they co-direct their up-and-coming film.
I Shall Call The Poppups And Addisons Over To Manage The Ad Revenue Of This Movie ($$$) says Queen, making a CHA-CHING! sound at the end.
She and Daphne then wait for their first viewer, and Queen laughs unfazed at Dharkstare showing up despite Carmilla discouraging it from watching the movie.
Meanwhile, Data Bismuth forges a key to her camp, but a rat (who may or may not be Rattus) snatches it from her.
"Hey, get back here ya pebble!" she yells as she chases it, but suddenly, she gets trapped in a giant hourglass. She just turns her hand into a mallet and smashes herself out of the trap.
As for Ariel, she picks up a fusion gun and wonders what it does, as she always did with her collection of human stuff. However, she gets ganged up on by Yorihime, Jay, and Zaphod, and they all try grabbing the gun for themselves. Suddenly, a bright flash engulfs them, and they all find themselves merged as a hideous mutant, with bits of red and yellow fur covering their fleshy body and their multiple arms flailing about. The fusion's components all agree to get Michael to unfuse them and give them therapy afterwards.
As all this is going on, Derrick just swaggers down the alleyway and passes by the latte, getting his meal from Isaac along the way. Rhodonite, on the other hand, is busy trying to remove her mosquito netting when Morgan and Edison stumble upon her.

Derrick is still in the mood after that walk, for he plays "The Night Begins to Shine" for Jay and Menomaru. They both jam along with him, and they get transported to a more epic version of the Arena for the whole day.
Meanwhile, Queen finds Data Flick putting his glass upside-down after drinking.

She whips out her own glass of battery acid, sips it, and throws it down to make it explode near Flick.
As for Rhodonite, she finds some dolls and plays with them, but Zaphod catches her.
"Eep! These aren't dolls, they're... action figures!" she retorts. "Yeah, they're that 'cuz... um... uh..."
She grins sheepishly and runs away from him with her new toys.
Elsewhere, Data Bismuth still feels pumped after escaping the hourglass and challenges Toyohime to a fight. They both duke it out for a while, and Bismuth says, "Didn't I tell ya that it's serious Bismuth here?!" before finishing off, no— murdering her with her hammer arms.
Away from the others, Ariel is still reeling from her temporary fusion the other night, so she randomly claims that she will "become back her money" and promptly poofs into a pile of gold coins.
The Science Center, Safety Shelter
While waiting for 6k1 to finish her talk with Dr. Phoenix, Juan watches the season with Stacy. He tries not to cringe at her shapeshifting into Tina to become Fleet's cheerleader.
"No offense, but is that really necessary?" he asks her. "I like goats as much as 6k1 does and I cheer for them too, but I don't zap myself with a Transformation Ray just for that!"
Underground Bunker
Power, her family, and Bezier settle in the Rec Room, and the two young blue ponies sit on the couch with Ichi.
"Wait, the Doctoress has a Youhoof account?!" asks Bezier.
"Youhoof? Is it that video app that the humans in Sci-Twi's world use?"
"I dunno what they call it there, but according to a fanfic about an alternate distant future Equestria, that's what the ponies of that era call it!"
"Wait a minute... I remember 6k1 mentioning a pony named Izzy Moonbow. Is she uh... one of the characters in that fic?"
"You mean Isaac Crestie? Yeah! He and his pony friends go on all sorts of adventures just like the Mane Six!"
Moon listens and goes "oooh..." at Power and Bezier, Miranda looks at the latter concernedly, while Star raises a brow at him.

(It's at this point that Knox realizes that Joaquin isn't here. He assumed that Joaquin wouldn't have gone far from where he was. He knows that Blood Moon didn't fully consume Joaquin, but Knox nevertheless fears the worst for his poor Sonny.)
Don't you get too far ahead of us! (Knox warns Blood Moon. Not that Blood Moon is moving fast enough to really lose Knox or Fire Eyes anyway.)

Blood Moon did not answer either Fire Eyes, or Knox.
Instead, the moment he got outside (after a long time, given his current speed), he instead went in the opposite direction of the lair, disregarding it completely.
"Blood Moon!! Just what do you think you're doing??" Fire Eyes said, fed up, eventually blocking Blood Moon's way. The corrupted Chozo didn't answer, and he pointed somewhere.
Fire Eyes gasped in horror upon seeing yet another pile of Mawkin armor and weaponry, without any Chozo around.
"What... What is this...?"
"It's... not just here. Look around the fox's lair." Blood Moon pointed out. Fire Eyes looked from afar, spotting the remains of Black Sun's squad.
"B-But... That's impossible. Black Sun said they were going to attack the lair. Did Dark Stanford do this?" he said.
Blood Moon slowly turned his head toward Knox, despite the pain. He frowned in anger as if the coyote had done something wrong.
"Attack the lair, you say... You imbeciles had our tribe rebel against Raven Beak." he gurgled.
Dark Stanford's lair
Aaron also sighed in relief when seeing Lucian and Oscar feeling slightly better.
"You're doing okay too, June?" he asked her.

The Fourth-Placers' Revenge
ZDR, Lair Entrance
Tricky dodged and weaved around the clone Rikou as it went down, making his way toward the centipede mutant. Once there, he began kicking at it to daze and distract it, making it easier for the others to bring down without killing. The cat rookie started to focus her shots on the other mutant to try to pin it down.
Sabre, having recovered from his intense spellcasting, joined the others in attacking Imhotep. He put up his forcefield spell briefly to help protect himself from the sandstorm and rushed in, sword at the ready.
At the mention of electricity, Shepard chuckled a bit. "Don't worry, I'm on it." The Commander then switched their ammo mods to disruptors and fired a burst of electromagnetically-charged shots at clone-Sidon.
Kaidan hung back, the strain of maintaining his biotic barrier having taken a lot out of him. He let the others cover him for now and tried to catch his breath.
ZDR, Outside Lair
Rivet smiled at Peridot's work. "Nice," she said. "We should be good now. Just need to do the same to the others."
"I don't have any ideas myself," said Saheeli. "These things are oddly unresponsive to my spells. I can't seem to control them."
"Perhaps that in and of itself could be useful," said Nine-Tailed Cat over the comms. "A magic-resistant material would make great armour, would it not?"
Saheeli shook her head. "Not unless you can deal with the deadly energy permeating them," she said.
"Actually, we have some hypotheses on how to do exactly that," Nine-Tailed Cat said. "Still untested, but you're in an excellent position to try them."
Krystal's ears flicked. "I don't know about this," she asked. "We might damage the machines if we try. And even if it works, what if the energy is why it resists magic?"
"Then at the least we'll get some information, and some useful scrap," said Nine-Tailed Cat. "I'm sure you can spare one or two of those things for tests."
"Let's see what the others think first," Ashley said. She turned to the other tech-savvy people present. "Your call. Do we try to clear out the energy, or not risk it?"

I'm sure I can build a mushroom and some coins, too. Won't make any blocks though. Sure it'd give you a headache if you bashed it open. Think stepping on a LEGO hurts? That night, Queen encounters Rattus and takes caution with him, remembering that he absorbed her SOUL and two others' and entered Photoshop Mode, not unlike Kanako in the previous season. She prepares to fight back as Rattus approaches her menacingly, but instead, he somehow swaps their arms around.
Now How Am I Going To Drink My Battery Acid LMAO Queen asks aloud as she waves her tiny rat arms.
Meanwhile, Carmilla enforces new rules and regulations and forces Rhodonite to follow them. The Fusion shakes as she tries following the rules to a T, remembering what Morganite did to her when she caught her remaining fused while serving her.
Speaking of Gems, Data Bismuth enters an elevator and throws four newly forged grenades at each corner. She then waits for someone else to enter, and when Jay does, she takes out a live grenade and throws it at one of the others.
"Bye bye, we're all dyin' here!" she shouts at Jay.
But they strike her right in her gemstone the moment the grenades explode, and it shatters into many tiny little pieces while Jay's body falls limp on the bloodied floor.
Elsewhere, Derrick imagines that he's Yang as he tries walking on lava, but unlike him, he predictably gets roasted.
Day 5
The next day, Queen hears some crying in the alleyway and searches for the source. She then finds a human baby girl inside a dumpster and struggles to get her out with her rat arms. She almost drops her on her head, but Queen manages to catch her and safely cradle her in between her long legs.

Power and Bezier watch the clips on Ichi's phone and giggle.
"You're telling me there's another Doctor after this one?!" the latter asks Ichi as he points to himself.
"At this rate, I wonder how many more times he'll reincarnate!" says Power. "Hey, that rhymed!"
"Duckter? Duckter?" Pepper points to Heart, who playfully ruffles his tiny mane.
"No no, sweetheart, they're not the ones who cure the sick!"
"They're the ones who go on all sorts of time-traveling adventures!" Power explains.
The Pepper bursts into tears and huddles Heart. She gives him a quick kiss on the forehead.
"Sorry about that, Pow-Pow, he's too young to understand..."
"Oh right..." she says. She then asks Star for Pepper's toy dino and gives it to him, and he quickly calms down.
"Awwwww!" Bezier coos. "He reminds me so much of my niece!"
Dark Stanford's Lair
Inside
Garnet still manages to land a few more hits on Imhotep before he whips up a glitchy sandstorm. She gets buffeted by it as she moves away, but the damage is negligible. Lapis, after flying away from Rikuo's implosion, sees the others in trouble and joins Henry in blowing the dustbowl away with her wings. Once it lets up, Garnet still keeps her distance and fires a rocket punch at Imhotep from behind.
"HEADS UP!" she shouts to those still fighting him.
Meanwhile, Steven continues covering for Connie while she goes behind the centipede and tries slashing its tail, just enough to KO it. Nearby, Bismuth patches the hole full of the bubble mutant's acid before helping Alex and August in subduing it. Her head smarts from its shockwave, but she quickly shakes it off and covers for her teammates like Steven.
As for Pearl, she leaps away from the Sidon clone after hitting it once, but Wanda suggests electrifying her trident to finish it off.
"Are you sure?! It's not conductive! Amethyst can handle this better!"
"You rang?" says the purple Gem as she promptly shows up to grapple the clone with her electric whip when the other attacks connect.
Outside
"Hmm...." says Peridot, "On one hand, the Anti-Magic is necessary since we'll be dealing with brainwashed or mutated magic users inside the lair, but on the other, we would need to fire these bots from a safe distance due to their radiation. I think we should risk extracting this energy first to see if the Anti-Magic is independent from it. As NTC said, we can repurpose the scrap material into other useful tools, as I do with my broken Robonoids. Too bad I didn't have time to retrieve what was left of my last one deeper underground..."
The Science Center, Safety Shelter
Since the start of the season, Dr. Phoenix has been giving 6k1 a detailed update on the true nature of Cassie and Riley and why they suddenly mutated into their Dark counterpart when the E.M.M.I. attacked.
"So let me get this straight... Cassie tried getting rid of his Dark self without our help, but he couldn't, and the latter somehow entered his mind in the form of Riley?"
"More or less. The E.M.M.I. must have triggered something in her that made the whole system transform into Dark Cassie when they were partially Atomized. Thankfully, he was not a huge threat as we thought since he was patient and cooperative with us when we treated him."
"Well, he still helped my rescuers destroy that giant robot, so I still thank him for that."
Dr. Phoenix nods. "I recommend letting R&D analyze this after this crisis blows over and their lab is fully repaired. This is the first time we have observed this kind of dynamic between a Light and Dark Nominator."
"Intriguing... I'll look into that when I have the time."
"Alright. And one final question before I leave... is there anything else about Cassie that we need to know?"
"Why do you ask?"
"Because he said that there was this other secret that he entrusted you with that he isn't willing to divulge to us himself. Did you sign an NDA from him about it?"
6k1 remembers what the secret is: the company that Cassie is working for in order to "directly" nominate tributes like the other nominators. However, she shakes her head at Dr. Phoenix.
"I'm sorry Dr., but while I didn't sign any, Cassie is bound to one, which allowed him to confide this secret to only one other person, and they must keep it a secret, too. He chose me to be his Secret-Keeper, and even if I can trust this to you or any of the department heads, I must uphold this part of the deal, or there will be serious consequences."
He nods again. "I understand. Whatever this secret is, we shall not press further about it, even if learning about it could help us with his predicament. Thank you for your time."
6k1 then gets off the table and leaves the room. She sees Dr. Phoenix take the up-slide, and then sits with Juan and Tina to catch up with the season.
"Sorry I took a little long, what Dr. Phoenix told me was quite serious, but it's confidential."
However, she notices Tina looking at Juan awkwardly.
"Is something the matter?" she asks the former.
Dr. Phoenix then meets with the medical team at the entrance and tells them that 6k1 cannot reveal Cassie's secret either.
"Understandable," says Priyanka.
"I wish we knew about it..." says Rana.
"But a Secret-Keeper must do what she must," adds Mari.
"And we shall respect that," says Dr. Phoenix. "But anyway," he tells the other potion makers, "shall we go back to the wards to check on the others?"

The Battle at ZDR
The battle got pretty intense as the clone of Ihmotep launched its tentacle attack, with Bale and Rouki having since opted to fight it they kept pace with its attacks all the while Pearl, Garnet and Kirby handled Rikuo and eventually saw its defeat, leaving to join the rest of the group only for the sandstorm the creature used to complicate matters, Bale and the rest covered themselves any way they could while Rouki just glared and attempted to resist the strength of the attack.
Bale: Some of you should go help the others to finish off the opposition. Kirby you may help defeat that Sidon clone.
Kirby: On it!
With careful positioning, Kirby absorbed any rubble or object nearby they could and prepared a powerful star bullet to try and damage the clone while the rest prepared their own finishers. Meanwhile Bale followed in the example of AR Garnet by using ranged attacks, Pearl and Garnet instead opted to try and hit him in the back with their weapons after the sandstorm had been cleared, hoping they'd get a good hit in. Rouki continued his own assaults by unleashing one of Meta Knight's powers he'd recently mastered; the Moon Shot as his Crescent Blade launched energy attacks of darkness at Ihmotep. He then began to think to himself about the current situation.
Rouki: It appears I gain more control of this body as time passes, soon I'll be stronger than anyone!
"Bingo! If two species hate each other, they will wipe each other out on their own."

After leaving Nakano with a babysitter for the meantime, Queen meets up with Menomaru, who helped her break the record for the world's largest snowcone. They both look at Manny passing by, and Menomaru comes up with a plan of attack and bets that Queen can't come up with one crazier than that.

She then sets off and promptly comes back with a small bowl of chickpea dip.

Regardless if Menomaru agrees to this or not, Queen laughs once more.
Meanwhile, Rhodonite continues hiding and shapeshifts herself some shades resembling Garnet's.

The next day, Queen encounters Sinon, who drools at her as her stomach rumbles. She then zaps the Darkner with a Transformation Ray, turning her into a giant apple.

Sinon then tries taking a bite out of her, but the girl sticks out her tongue and walks away. After Sinon leaves, Queen reverts to normal, but she still has Rattus's arms.
Still Objectively Better Than Being A Sentient But Immobile Food Item Tho
Meanwhile, Rhodonite gets out of her hole and finds a cat. She squees as she runs towards it, but the cat runs away from her and into the middle of the street. Rhodonite continues chasing it, but she freaks out at the blaring incoming traffic and stops in her tracks. Miraculously, the Constitution steers over to rescue her, and she quickly climbs aboard, but then a huge truck collides with it. Her gemstones are instantly flung out from the explosion, but after a while, they regenerate into a Ruby and a Pearl, and they immediately cuddle and fuse back into Rhodonite. She looks around for both the cat and the ship, only to scream at the wreckage on the road.
The Science Center, Safety Shelter
"I've seen weirder things in the Arena, even before I came here," says Juan dryly, "but it's just that she didn't need to flaunt her love for foxes like that!"
"But she's not seriously harming you or anyone else by just... expressing her fondness for them in her own way, right?" says 6k1 gently. "It's not something I would do towards any good goat if I were a 'shifter, but I don't tell CAC that it's 'wrong' for him to do what Tina just did!" She makes Air Quotes to clarify that she actually doesn't think of his quirk that way, even in private.
The male DM awkwardly looks at Tina again, who's probably still twiddling her fingers.
"I'm sorry... did I offend you? Was it my tone of voice? Should I not have reacted to your quirk at all?"

On the Bloodbath, Morgan decided to use a different strategy than usual, faking to be nervous. He managed to trick Soldat Crinale that way to escape safely.
The evil Morgrem quickly dropped the facade by attending... Scipion's school, which he had already monitored several times. He took the opportunity to check on the droids left there. After "graduating", Morgan gloated about it to Haseo who grew jealous, thus tricking him into the Death School and having him killed.
The following night, Morgan, too lazy to hunt, participated in a feast organized by Red Knife. But the latter messed up the food so badly that even Morgan didn't hesitate to insult him for that.
The next day, Morgan was quick to plan his next scheme, this time against the Games, by simply hacking the arena speakers.
"Hellooooooo my fellow murderers, how are you doing on this beautiful day? Allow me to interrupt that useless host to grace you with my voice. Let me remind you of something... We live in a society, where I'm going to wreck all over you. And those who've already started to kill, you're not trying hard enough!! I want to see more carnage!! That's what the Games are about!! With that said... Morgan out!!" he exclaimed, before letting the speakers play some random, unpleasant music for the rest of the day until they would be back under the Gamemakers's control.
ZDR caves
Fire Eyes hadn't moved from his spot when he saw Knox reappearing.
"Oh! Knox!" he exclaimed, rushing to help him back up.
"Thank the gods you are alright... Is everything-?" he said, before looking at Blood Moon.
The mad Chozo was starting to slightly alter his form into a mess
◊. Parts of his armor has merged with his skin, completely covered in black, he was struggling with even breathing, and he looked much weaker than usual. He then opened his white eyes.
"Ghh... Ghhhhh...!!" he hissed, struggling to get up. He then noticed the manacles on his hands and frowned.
"What... Khhh... What is this...?"
Fire Eyes hesitated for a moment, not knowing how to react to his remaining squadmate's state.
"Those are manacles that lady Saheeli made to make sure you would not try to escape." he said, trying to keep his calm.
"...Did this clone... Rhhhh... really thought this would work... on a shapeshifting creature? That defective garbage..." Blood Moon grunted.
"Blood Moon. Enough." Fire Eyes sternly snapped back before folding his arms.
"Besides... I can guess you are too weak to even take on another form right now, are you?" he guessed. Blood Moon didn't answer, too proud to admit it, just staring at him and Knox.
"...Get rid of these... Now..." he demanded.
Dark Stanford's lair
"The Alligator is down!!" James exclaimed as the creature imploded.
"We go after the mummy, then!!" Arthur shouted, gesturing his team and Freyja to attack Imhotep, doing the same strategy as before.
Scipion managed to dodge Rikuo's tentacles without too much problem. Onox was struggling more, being slower. He even got hit by one of them, but the brute managed to stand his ground. That was enough to anger Onox, who drummed on his belly, producing music notes before using Overdrive on Rikuo.
Sabre and Cleo both confirmed the centipede and the plastic bubble mutants were not clones just after Tokage and Alex backed down from the flames.
"Urgh crap..." Alex spat.
"It's okay, July. We'll be careful now." Tokage reassured July too before frowning.
"But they won't go down without a fight. Let Henry and the others get them away from our other foes. Then we try to knock them out. Until then, we dodge since they're both focused on us. Think of it like that dodging game we played back at Ralsei's town." he said.
"Yeah! Come on girls!! We gotta find an opening!!" Alex exclaimed.
"G-Guys...!!" Lucian whined.
"Yeah, we're gonna be fine. We're here now. If we've been able to escape the bad guys for so long, we can escape them for a bit more time. We're going to be fine, okay?" Aaron gently said. Lucian let out a bit more sobs and nodded.
Aaron knew it would be best to just go hide in the other book and leave Oscar and Lucian. But he wasn't so sure now, especially with Lucian's mental state.
"If you want us to stay right beside you two, you just have to say so. We'll try to find a way." Aaron said to him and Oscar.
