Well...that.

I'm asking because I was inspired by Pathfinder's take on Asuras as the living karmic backlash of divine error. More specifically, I have the Three Venoms, a set of triplets born when a Jerkass God killed his own son for loving a woman in a way he disapproved of, and the agony of their father infected the fetus, splitting it into three beings that embodied the three poisons of delusion, desire, and hatred.

Thing is, having effectively had those concepts in the back of their head for all their lives, able to manipulate them even before they awoke to their true nature caused them to... dismiss them as pointless. Moha the Venom of Delusion, is an insightful and humble Anti-Nihilist (he is very self-aware and honest about the world), Raga the Venom of Desire, is charitable and empathetic (he recognizes how pointless sentimental attachment is and how excessive attachment ruins what you have), and Dvesha the Venom of Hate is calm and respectful (she sees it as a completely irrational emotion that lasts beyond any reasonable stimulus). All three end up threatening the world to avenge their father, but all three are actually quite personable and ready with genuine life advice.

How would you write a balance between them being devoid of their defining emotion while still being extremely threatening?

They might not be dangerous because of the emotion they represent but because of a DIFFERENT vice. For example, the Venom of Delusion could be a destroyer of hope, the Venom of Desire could be a destroyer of beauty, and the Venom of Hate could be a destroyer of discretion.
