You thought it would be animated by Bones, but it was me, David Pro! Jokes aside, I am really glad that the series gets animated. I also hope that Taku Iwasaki can cast his magical music madness on this work just as he did in Soul Eater or JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Battle Tendency.

We'll see about that. And speaking of Fire Force... Oh man, I kind of want to see Dr. Stone animated by David. And for Fire Force, the manga has a bit of a shaky reputation. I wonder why?

As I mentioned in my review of the first volume, I bounced hard off the female character whose powers require her to dress in a Stripperific outfit and force male colleagues to touch her underwear areas. I enjoy male-oriented fanservice, but the presentation struck me as icky.

I am enjoying the manga so far, so I can only guess. I think the reason may be the Slow-Paced Beginning, which focuses on Worldbuilding and the character's motivations through flashbacks.

Seeing the character in question, this seems about right. Kajiwara may forever branded as AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAASTA for the first few episodes of BC, but believe or not, he's actually pretty good now.

Alright... Another thread by me and its for a manga series called Fire Force or better known as Ennen no Shoubotai. For those who don't know the plot. It's basically this:
"Year 198 of the Solar Era in Tokyo, special fire brigades are fighting against a phenomenon called spontaneous human combustion where humans beings are turned into living infernos called "Infernals" (焰ビト Homura Bito). While the Infernals are first generation cases of spontaneous human combustion, later generations possess the ability to manipulate flames while retaining human form. Shinra Kusakabe, a youth who gained the nickname Devil's Footprints for his ability to ignite his feet at will, joins the Special Fire Force Company 8 which composes of other flames users as they work to extinguish any Infernals they encounter. As a faction that is creating Infernals appears, Shira begins to uncover the truth behind a mysterious fire that caused the death of his family twelve years ago."
Why did I make this thread? Because the manga is getting the anime of course and needless to say, I heard that the manga has a bit of a shaky reputation towards the anime community despite the fact that its from the same creator as Soul Eater. That and the same animation studio that animate JJBA, David Productions will animate this anime. So, regardless of the shaky reputation. Anyone hyped for this anime or not? Oh! And it has a trope page btw so yeah...
