The room was dimly lit, with only source of light coming from the large computer monitors hung up on the wall. Someone sit in front of the computer screens, the tick tack of his key board echoing around the room. He was frustrated, and growing even more so as the seconds went by. Finally, he dropped into his chair, and his head in his hands, a feeling of dread and sorrow engulfing him like a wave. "Damn it" he muttered, "how could this have happened?" "Maybe it was an accident" a meek voice said, their body hidden by the darkness. "No, it was planned out. But, why would they... it's time." A small gasp escaped the owner of the meek voice. "You're really going to do it, isn't that plan a little extreme?" "We don't have a choice! Get the eggs ready, I'll send the signal." "Y-yes sir." With that, the young assistant walked away, their feet making a clacking noise as they did so. The man turned to his monitors once again, and looked gravely at the picture in front of him. The castle, the one he had worked so hard to build as a symbol of peace, lay in ruin; smoke and ash being all that lived with in it now. "Damn it all."

• Appearance: He has the look of a somewhat thin faced boy who's somewhat trapped between the nerdy boy he was prior to tenth grade year, and the athlete he became. His stubble is uneven, and just starting to come in, and while he has broad shoulders, strong legs, and impressive enough arms, he's quite anxious some other parts have lapsed behind. He has a decent tanned look, light brown hair, green eyes, and a few scars from football. He typically wears a tight black t-shirt, a denim jacket, denim jeans, and boots. He has an (illegally acquired) ring of arrows tattoo around his right bicep.

• Personality: Matt was basically caught between his own interests and his situation as the son in a Jock Dad, Nerd Son ordeal...and he ultimately tried to become the jock his dad wanted. While he still has some odd awkward moments, this manifests in sometimes undue anger and aggression. He's desperate to prove he's a man and someone his dad can be proud of. He does still enjoy some nerdy stuff, though he tries his hardest to conceal it.

• Personality: He's got some pretty severe "runt of the litter" issues to work through - the other Black Agumon in his group digivolved into more powerful forms before he did - in the process leaving him alone, resulting in him being a training fanatic, a somewhat more subdued Blood Knight eager to take the fight to foes, and very lonely. Matt represents the first actual friend he has had in a while. He's eager to help Matt, and if he thinks he can do something for him, he'll bring it up. He can be a little too energetic if stirred up, leading him into awkward moments "I...uh, I get socially awkward when I get fired up..."
