To Be Heroine

Mandatory plot summary:

Futaba is a clever high school girl. One day, she is suddenly sucked into another world. This dark world is a world without light and the inhabitants are only children wearing panties. Arriving there, Futaba is the only one wearing clothes and she will become the heroine of this world where clothes are the strongest weapons.

I created this thread to see if anyone else is watching this series, I have watched the first two episodes and I am gonna watch the third as soon as possible. I just have to say that seriously, this show Needs More Love.

Watched Episode 3.

Watching those super strict Asian schools is very weird for me, a Latin American, because we have the exact opossite problem. Schools are ridiculously lax.

I didn't though that Fubuki would last so few, I'd predict that he (or a clothe of the same type) would return

Hikaru is truly The Woobie, and Futaba' father really don't look like a good one. I mean, he's angry at her scoring a 94.

What's this genre called? Isekai? Protagonist falls into another world and is armed with the only thing that said, fantasy/mythical world is lacking - be it imagination, a smartphone, knowledge of RPG mechanics, or in this case... clothing.

This sounds like a fusion of Gwen Pool and Kill La Kill.

Comparations with Kill la Kill are pretty common honestly

What the heck happened with the IRL Hikaru? I'm interesed.

Oh, the MC of To Be Hero appeared and..he got posessed by Golden Baby Hikaru. Yep.

Given Hikaru' perv tendencies and his crush on Futaba, I'd guess that this explain that PV where the MC of To Be Hero acted like a ephebophile wanting to screw his daughter's best friend. It wasn't that Dad become a pedo, it was just Hikaru!

I feel bad for Dad. He comes to the temple to say thanks and he gets possessed by a half-nudist toddler.

So recently just watched the first 3 episode and figured that there are something on To Be Hero that I wont miss. And oh look! In Episode 3, the previous characters that appear in the prequel, appeared again in this show...the tsundere called Min-Chan

They're bringing the old cast back. Is curious realizing that they were definitely the protagonists but now they're clearly secondaries.

Me too... as well, she is actually the central character from the prequel. Its actually pretty interesting that the dream form in this version has a mustache and her Spi Cloth is consisted of hot women.

Just saw the latest episode...It's a bit of a rollercoaster. But at the same time, glad to see some familiar faces back...Feel bad for Min-Chan's pop though that he had to experience some weird shit again for the second time. And I thought this will be the last episode, but I think it would be nice to look forward to the next one since I want to know whatever happened to Hikaru.

I've watched the latest episode.

...this got pretty dark. And we got a pretty high Hate Sink in a single episode.

Holy hell really... I need to start catching up with that.

Just finished the 5th episode.... Yeah, the episode made this show a lot darker and edgier. Heck I wont gonna lie that this show is even more darker than the prequel to be completely honest... And that guy with the glasses.... Yea, I felt that he's a potential keeper for CM

Watches Ep 6. It seems that we're entering the endgame. Sad that there weren't as many Mistaken for Pedophile jokes as expected.

Nothing much to said. I am waiting to see what happens with Tooru/Super Old Guy. I like him and because I am a sadist, I still ship him with Futaba. I would love to see him winning but I would be fine if he gets heartbroken.

So. This is over.

Well, the ending felt rushed and I'll expected something as the Fantasy World returning as a whole to get a proper final fight. Maybe with Evil Glasses Dude as a Shonen Final Boss inside it (it would make sense, not? He was a Evil Overlord in a modern setting, in the fantasy world he could be honest)

It was nice to see the Spicloths again tho.

What that eff with Hikaru in the last scene? He come back to life because Muh Heart? Also. If that's the case, poor Tooru/Good Glasses Dude, three years trying to get Futaba and then Hikaru come back to life. But I'll guess that getting your friend back overrides that worry.

Futaba look the same after three years and I'll miss her old clothes. She's still cute as ever, but eh.

Basically. This was a good experience overall. I'm sad that we didn't got the reaction of Min' Dad at seeing that his body come back to be healthy

Futaba is adorable. I admit that I'll watched the series for her.

Alright...Just finished the entire show. Have to admit the ending is a little bit rushed. Well, at least it isn't crap as the first show ending. But even then, this was a pretty enjoyable experience and what can I say...It's one of the most underrated gems that I watch this spring as for now so yeah.

So A freaking new ending was cut. The ending briefly show what happened with the characters.

...yeah. The epilogue was cut.

...but honestly, I prefer it cut.

So. The Hikaru of the last scene wasn't Hikaru, just a look-a-like guy that started date Futaba (talk about Broken Aesop. Getting over the death of your crush and then dating someone who is practically the same guy)

And Tooru got over his crush on Futaba and got a cute blonde meganneko GF from nowhere.

That's bullshit.

Also. Hikaru' Mom got together with Min' dad. I'll actually can support this.

...I think that cutting it was a good idea.
