Needs Help: Writing About Your Crime

This image+caption did not get enough consensus in the Image Suggestion thread.

Honestly, I'm not sure how the suggestion could be clearer, so was surprised how this one went.

You've got roaming bands of armed, aggressive, tyrannical plumbers coming to your door, saying "Use our service, or else!"

I think one of the objections might have been how dark the first panel is, it's kinda hard to see what's going on.

Too dark—can't see shit on mobile. Also way too caption-reliant.

One has to fill in the blanks about the killer from panel 1 having written the novel in panel 2.

Well, theoretically it could be the other way around (the murder being based on the book). In fact, that's the bullshit excuse she uses in the film, "look, there may be a Loony Fan copycat killer around". Still, it takes a bit of a leap on a page called "Writing About Your Crime".
