This◊, if I'm not mistaken, was the old pic. The new one is, I think, marginally better, but something that's a bit more clearly evil would be even better.
Alright how about Satha the white snake from Conan The Barbarian : The Scarlet Citadel

"That's right mortal. By channeling my divine rage into power, I have forged a new instrument in which to destroy you."I can't even tell what's going on in the new one. Looks like Light 'em Up to me. Not sure the evil bit.

The old one was replaced precisely because the "looks more evil" was a subject of complaints in discussion. It kind of defeats the purpose.
Personally, I think switching this and the pic for Light 'em Up would suffice if you don't think Elesh Norn committing genocide is clear enough. That one shows the devastating effect of light and was in fact the original one for the page.
My Patreon. It is my life.I think the old one (2) works better than the other images. It shows imagery associated with "light", and he looks evil enough.
Check out my fanfiction!Thing is, as stated in the discussion looking evil defeats the purpose of the trope. Actually showing a light-aligned character doing evil things gets the point across.
My Patreon. It is my life.I prefer the old pic. I could infer that his villainous-looking face was supposed to be evil compared to the other light/angel imagery. The current doesn't look particularly villainous to me; the person looks like they're using light powers to kill monsters.
Yes, the person blasting people with agonised looks on their faces doesn't come across as evil.
My Patreon. It is my life. No, really, they don't. For all we know the people could be villainous mooks. As a previous poster mentioned, the current looks more like Light 'em Up.
Contextually, its genocide.
Like I said, I'm open to a switcheroo, since the Light 'em Up pic was the original one for this page and it definitely shows the light in a negative way.
I just think this one is appropriate for this page.
My Patreon. It is my life.Definitely not the Kefka piece at any rate, as detailed in the complaints in the discussion
My Patreon. It is my life.I don't think "looking evil" is against the trope, and at least some part of the image has to clearly illustrate evil. None of the other suggestions do that.
Check out my fanfiction! It does, considering how it undermines the idea that you shouldn't judge a book by its cover.
Additionally, it does so in "dark" ways like glowing red eyes and shadows.
My Patreon. It is my life. The darkness there is because of the back-light. There's also the angel, cloud, and sun motifs, all associated with light.
Check out my fanfiction!Alright If were going with Kefka could we at at least use an official image. Like one from his reappearnce in Final Fantasy XIV

"That's right mortal. By channeling my divine rage into power, I have forged a new instrument in which to destroy you."If we go by the trope description...
I vote revert to the original.

"That's right mortal. By channeling my divine rage into power, I have forged a new instrument in which to destroy you."18.2
I don't like the composition in the first, the third is too dark and the last one is blindingly bright.
Spiral out, keep going.Brought down the brightness in last image.
I'll go with the last in 18.
(Annoyed grunt)Crowner?
Honestly lets go with a crowner. Weve got plenty of nice options so that would help people decide on which they want.
If we go with Kefka though Iv got a great quote from the FF XIV campaign to use as a a caption:
“Are you afraid of the dark? Hah! ‘Tis light’s glare that will strip you bare!”
