Opened. The page quote works better than the image.
Neither of them illustrate the trope.
Join the Five-Man Band cleanup project!I can live with that.
Looks good to me.
(Annoyed grunt)I still don't see how that shows the trope either. This isn't just about an actor dying, but their character subsequently being retired to pay respect to them. Nothing in the image rules out The Other Darrin.
ETA: Scratch that, it's WORSE than what's on the page right now. If you inspect that one more closely, at least it mentions "Big Bird, a Jim Henson muppet". There's an In-Universe+trivia angle there that's wholly lacking in the Glee pic.

You've got roaming bands of armed, aggressive, tyrannical plumbers coming to your door, saying "Use our service, or else!"Hm, we can probably find a news ticker that has the year of his death (2013) much more prominently in the formatting, to go with the 2013 death date in the lower image.
^^ Perhaps I am missing something here but if the character is dead in the show, how can he be replaced with another Darrin?
Mea culpa. It's weirdly edited, making it look like the photo is part of the article, rather than a still from the show itself. The headline doesn't help either. I'm going to assume the actor is named Cory Monteith, but the manner in which it's parsed makes it seem like he's a studio rep or the dead guy's agent making a statement or something. You'd think they would say "Glee star Cory Monteith's death..."

You've got roaming bands of armed, aggressive, tyrannical plumbers coming to your door, saying "Use our service, or else!"I thought the same thing.
Keet cleanupAny idea how to improve the composition?
Probably no other way than a different newspaper headline and a clear border between the top and bottom halves.
You've got roaming bands of armed, aggressive, tyrannical plumbers coming to your door, saying "Use our service, or else!"Clock is set.
Clock's up; locking for inactivity/lack of consensus.
I feel bad making a thread for because it's a touching image + caption, but I really don't see the trope/trivia being demonstrated here.
