Your first applicant! Here is my character.

Name: Magpie

Alias (Optional): N/A

Other Names (Optional): N/A

Gender: Female (?)

Sexuality: N/A

Age: Appears 10, actual age unknown

Race: Embodiment Entity

Ethnicity: Emotion

Appearance: Magpie appears as a (5ft. tall, 100 lbs) scrawny 10-year-old girl with silver eyes and black white-streaked hair tied in a ponytail. She wears a white button-up short-sleeved shirt under a black button-up vest, black knee-length shorts with white trim, baggy knee-high woolen socks, knee-high combat boots, leather fingerless gloves, and a black top hat with a red hatband.

Transformation Appearance: Eurasian Magpie

Alternate Appearances: N/A

Personality: Magpie is a fundamentally cheerful and kindhearted entity, with a mischievous streak a mile long. She tends to hide her cunning with seeming stupidity and has a penchant for a dramatic flair. She hates corrupt authority figures, unfair laws, haughty/disdainful behavior, and prejudice. She likes making new friends, napping, reading, pranks, riddles, stealing, and good food.

Abilities:

Instincts of a Thief: Magpie is able to determine the most advantageous time to pull off a heist, pickpocket someone or steal something. She can get a feeling of how to pick any lock, and is able to determine if someone is lying or otherwise twisting the truth, even if the lie is told to her through a proxy. She will also subconciously remember details that might be of use to her in the future.

Yours Is Mine: Magpie is able to steal another person's skills and use them for a short while, usually a few hours. She must make physical contact with the person in order for this to work.

Hideaway Creation: Magpie is able to create an unlimited amount of small concealed alcoves that do not affect the surrounding space (like the TARDIS) in walls, etc. They can be used as living spaces, storage, etc. OR she can create a large secret base-like structure in a cave or other concealed location. She can acess the objects stored in her hideaways remotely via her top hat, pockets, etc. She can teleport inside her hideaways by jumping into her top hat. (To transport multiple people, they must jump while holding hands.)

Shapeshifting: Can turn into a magpie, but people being observant will notice there is something odd or "fey" about the bird. Even more so, if Magpie is a magpie in a place where magpies don't live.

One For Sorrow: Steals luck/increases the chance of something breaking. Magpie must stand in the general vicinity of the target and concentrate. Increases the chances for something fortunate to happen to Magpie.

Two For Joy: Gives luck/decreases the chance of something breaking. Magpie must think of the target as "highly important" for this to work. Has a chance to make something unfortunate happen to Magpie.

Racial Traits: Immune to mental interference and forced shapeshifting, cannot "truly" die (resurrective immortality)

Transformations: Can turn into a magpie

Mundane Feats: Stealth, Pickpocketing, Lockpicking, Sleight-of-Hand, Lying, Parkour, Escape Artistry, Running Away, Can make/use magic items

Weaknesses: Always being pursued by authorities, looks very obviously "fey" (human and magpie form), irrepressible urge to steal from those she feels deserving

Gear/Weapons: Top Hat (usual means of accessing hideaways), Bows & Arrows, Throwing Knives, Daggers (in hideaways), Lots of other things in hideaways (small scale magic items, a ship, etc.)

Relationships: Forever alone due to her footloose tendencies; if she had any friends, she would protect them fiercely

Trivia: Magpie is the embodiment of the resentment of people opressed by corrupt authorities. Affected by the tales of noble thieves and the behavior of magpies, she seeks to remind the rich and powerful that they are just like everybody else, while helping out anybody she encounters along the way. If a larger threat looms, she will diligently work to stop it, while offering her help with any other good beings who share her goal.

Eh, why not? I like me a good crossover, and I like this detailed format. BRACE FOR INFODUMP!!

  • Name: Rine Anok
    • Alias: Ryan Andrews (if he needs to blend in within a human environment)
  • Gender: Male
    • Sexuality: Demiromantic
  • Age:
    • Physical: 271
    • Apparent: 25-27
  • Race: Kaydenite
    • Ethnicity: Aentolian (native of the city of Aentolin)
  • Appearance: Stands around 5'4-5'5, average height for a Kaydenite. Usually wears dark jeans with either a pale blue overshirt and a white tee or a black hoodie and light blue tee. In his human alias, he wears a pair of grey contacts.
  • Personality: Due to a mixture of his militaristic Anok upbringing and his Kaydenite heritage, Rine can come across as rather blunt, cold and even occasionally condescending or threatening in his day to day speech, implementing inflections in all the wrong areas and talking in a strange monotone. He rarely shows a genuine smile if at all, the only real time he does which can be seen in public is a wide, sadistic sharklike grin when he's in the middle of a battle in order to either irritate or unnerve his opponent. However, Rine has shown that he can be kind-hearted occasionally, displaying a white hot rage for the benefit of those he considers friends and revealing a surprisingly delicate and humanlike sympathy if he feels the situation needs it. But add on top of the hidden humanity his unblinking, twitching and birdlike demeanor, (which involves head movements that would surely snap the neck of a regular man) Rine isn't initially a comfortable one to be around, but if he considers you a friend he'll at least put in the effort to act less alien, for your sake.
  • Abilities/Racial Traits: Because Rine's abilities are species-wide but nonetheless powers, I wasn't quite sure what section to put this in, so I did both :P
    • Hardlight Generation: Due to his Kaydenite biology, Rine has six hollow organs inside his abdominal region. By focusing his body's electrical potential (the organs are lined with a type of supercharged pacemaker cell) to these organs, Rine can generate a malleable plasma-like substance and direct it to different areas of his body through his veins, or even expel it out of his skin in the form of plasma shots (if he releases it) or constructs (if he holds it). The plasma shots can be either highly dense and fast, inflicting massive damage, or blindingly bright and low mass, usually used for slow-moving distractions with effects similar to flares or flashbangs. The constructs include swords of varying designs, usually scimitars out of preference, half-bubble shields that are generated from the forearms, and a few other miscellaneous weapons. Because Rine has been so focused on his sword combat, he doesn't have as wide a range of experience in Hardlight constructs as some other Kaydenites, but what he does know is effective and working for him.
    • Glottal Warblers: A set of four to eight gill-like slits situated just behind the jawline and below the ears on either side of the neck. These slits are nigh-invisible when closed, appearing at most like a set of light scars, however once a Kaydenite (especially an Aentolian one) starts to talk in their native tongue the warblers open up and begin to... well warble. The purpose of the warblers is to allow Kaydenites to access a collection of guttural, screeching, and howling vocal sounds, used mostly to pronounce certain words in their languages correctly (as mentioned before, Rine is an Aentolian Kaydenite, and the Aentolian language has a heavy reliance on these organs to speak fluently). The warblers also have a secondary purpose; they are directly tied into the Hardlight system, so if a Kaydenite is "burned out" (see below) then they can expel excess plasma through the slits in the form of steam and gas to cool themselves down a little quicker. However the warblers are a delicate organ, and so trying to vent Hardlight through them is a very precise process, meaning that a Kaydenite has to pick an opportune, quiet moment to attempt it.
    • Small Mass: Kaydenites are on average shorter, lighter, and physically weaker than the average human, possessing a smaller muscle mass and hollow bones similar to that of birds. However, their light weight means that they can be incredibly athletic, the average Kaydenite soldier being almost comparable to a ninja with their advanced parkour and swift, ruthless attacks. Their small size also makes it easier for them to contort and dodge some attacks that humans might have a tough time with. But, if they're ever grabbed by anything above a semi-strong human, they could be easily broken and tossed around if they don't get themselves out in time.
    • Heat Resistance: Due to their bodies natural ability to create and channel searing hot plasma, the Kaydenites as a species naturally have an imperviousness to fire and electricity, either being completely ignorable for the former (with the exception of clothes) or actually helping in channeling with the latter. They do have a limit though, anything hotter than plasma could harm them in the same way fire or lightning would on a human.
  • Weaknesses:
    • Hardlight Burnout: A natural, common consequence of overusing Hardlight in a short period of time, but still dangerous if it happens in battle. The cells lining the organs become inflamed and incapable of producing more electricity to convert the air inside to plasma, causing a buildup of hot steam and smoke from within. The symptoms include violent coughing fits and abdominal pain. Attempts to generate more Hardlight in an inflamed set of organs could cause even worse symptoms or potentially fatal damage. There are currently three ways to deal with burnout, wait it out (taking around fifteen to twenty minutes before the inflammation has receded enough for the organs to be safe to use again) take a "cooldown" pill (which still takes five to ten minutes to act) or release the excess high-heat steam by channeling it through the glottal warblers as a form of ventilation (which takes only a few seconds but requires the Kaydenite's full attention and concentration to avoid scalding their speech mechanisms).
    • Fragile Body: As previously mentioned, a Kaydenite's skeletal and muscle structure are a lot weaker to that of a humans. Injuries that would cause a fracture in a human would completely snap the bone of a Kaydenite, and also disrupt their Hardlight systems. As a result, Kaydenites in combat don't act acrobatic for flashiness' sake, they do it out of necessity, using trickery and ruthless, unpredictable combat techniques to ensure their survival. If they do get hit, chances are it'll be a lot more crippling than if a human was on the other end.
  • Gear/Weapons:
    • Amulet of Lœ: An amulet with unknown properties. Rine almost never takes it off, as it is a gift from his childhood friend, Kyxe Seng. The name is in reference to the Aentolian deity of light and plasma, Lœ. Kyxe herself owns one, and the pendants both inexplicably heat and glow according to either their closeness or the physical status of the other.
    • PCSS (Prototype Channelling Short-Sword): A short sword designed by the House of Tehk back on Kayden. The sword has the ability to coat itself in even a tiny amount of Hardlight to enhance its sharpness. Aentolin is hoping to introduce more channeling weapons to decrease strain in Hardlight generation, to controversial reaction. Unfortunately, Hardlight constructs have little to no weight, so Rine has no idea how to handle the sword correctly and effectively in battle. He still carries it with him, however, as it can be useful if the enemy is caught off-guard and he wants to finish him off quickly.
  • Relationships:
    • Ekan Anok: Rine's father, a well known and respected General who lives up to his militaristic family history. Their relationship is inconsistent even in the viewpoint of his mother, sometimes quite jovial while other times cold and filled with disdain. Their rocky relationship usually means that they keep themselves to themselves out of a mutual respect for the other.
    • Si'lz Anok: Rine's mother, who was birthed Si'lz Nel'r. Unlike with Ekan, their relationship is consistently loving and friendly, albeit somewhat strained only because of their duty as Kaydenite soldiers. Si'lz is a General like Ekan, and currently works in patrolling the Equator Wall (Kayden is a tidal-locked planet, and the dark side has been physically bordered off as it is used as a makeshift prison for particularly nasty criminals. That and it is also home to the Altürgone, a species that are the Kaydenite's natural predators).
    • Kyxe Seng: Rine's valen, a term in Aentolian used to describe a pair that are practically inseparable in their companionship. Kyxe is one of the few who has seen Rine's kinder side, and makes sure to return it in full to him. Unfortunately, Kyxe suffers from a disability that renders one of her Hardlight organs malformed and useless, meaning she has to focus on less strenuous constructs so as not to hurt herself. Despite this, she has become a formidable fighter in her own right, taking advantage of stealth and acrobatic movements to ruthlessly cut down her enemies.
  • Trivia:
    • Rine plays a large instrument called a lœtukin, which when infused with Hardlight in certain holes emits a groaning, wailing noise that could be comparable to whales in its beauty. However the slightest fracture could ruin the sound, and so Rine is extremely protective of it. The term lœ-tuk-in can be translated word for word; Lœ means light, Tuk means apply/infuse, and In is shorthand for Inālga, meaning instrument. So "lœtukin" roughly translates to "light-applied instrument".
    • The actual average number of organs in a Kaydenite are four, not six. Rine has a semi-rare condition where his body has duplicated a set. This means he can create a few more complex constructs before he suffers from burnout, as the strain is spread across six organs and not four. An odd number of functioning organs could result in strain imbalance, which combined with a lesser number than four in the case of Kyxe could be a crippling disability if not carefully worked around. The most number of organs ever recorded was a set of eight in Rine's relative Rok'n Anok, however he was in constant agony and suffered from a hunch due to his body simply being unable to fit them in correctly.
    • The term "valen" is interchangeable between "inseparable friends" and "soulmates". Neither Rine nor Kyxe have fully realised this detail.
    • Rine, like most Kaydenites, can function as a bass singer thanks to his glottal warblers. The glottal warblers are present species-wide even if some ethnic groups don't use them, so even the most petite and gentle Kaydenite female can choose to sing in low tones rivalling that of Tim Foust.
    • Kaydenite blood, instead of being red like a human's and dark red when deoxygenated, is instead a saturated blue and completely transparent when deoxygenated. This is because their blood is haemocyanin based, not haemoglobin based like most mammals on Earth. This means that instead of their blood containing iron in a cell, it contains copper which "free floats" around in the rest of the bloodstream. Usually, a species with this type of blood would be incredibly sluggish and weak compared to a human due to haemocyanin being four times less efficient than haemoglobin at transporting oxygen, but thankfully Kaydenites have naturally adapted to be more efficient with the little oxygen they do receive.

Just some guy

Name: Lucas Storm

Alias (Optional):

Gender: Male

Sexuality: straight.

Age: 25

Race: he is a Human, who has been...inspired.

Ethnicity: his Genius class is Klagen, a Genius born from sorrow. his human ethnicity is Irish american

Appearance: he has on a white labcoat, wearing an orange shirt and black pants. he is 5'11' and has black hair and dark brown eyes with that glint of inspiration in them.

Alternate Appearances: a battle armor that's made up of microbots, it makes him look like he's wearing spidermans black suit, and functions like that as well

Personality: he can come off as a depressed/perpetually sad mad scientist, and that is mostly correct.

Abilities: technician, coder, engineering, these are the things he can do as a genius without his axiom. with his Axiom he is capable to build/enhance anything to be protected from something, like Havoc,or fire, or even sight if you want to stretch it. although this shield he can make/enhance other things have has a few holes, and it can't protect against things that are inside the shield

Racial Traits:As a genius he creates wonders that run off of mania, no he doesn't know what it is, or why it does what it does, another thing he can do is when exposing normal people to mad science he has a chance to turn them into a genius them self or a lackey for him to use in his endeavors

Transformations: into a unmada and into a illuminated, the only things that changes are his state of mind and the fact that he has a small field of reality denial due to the sheer mania he would have running around his mind and body. this is something he seriously hopes to avoid.

Mundane Feats: As a genius he can make wonders as awe inspiring as the mind can conceive, he can also make simple items that actually function because unlike his wonders they actually fully can be understood by normal people.

Weaknesses:

Havoc- any wonder he makes can and will malfunction when exposed to and interacted with by normal people, the smarter they(normal people) are, the worse it gets.

Unmada transformation-the genius becomes a unmada someone who isn't is sure that they are sane and everyone else is wrong. this is bad because well now there is nothing stopping him from reaching the bottom of the slippery slope of sanity loss and becoming a illuminated, luckily he can recover if this happens, it will just take time to do so.

Illumination- this is what happens when a genius loses all sense of morality, this is when the inspiration eats their mind from the inside out, this is...well this is the absolute worst thing to happen to a genius/unmada

Gear/Weapons: his battle suit, a wonder that's connected to a watch he wears, once he activates it, it surrounds his body and clothes and acts like the symbiote suit from spiderman, giving him the power to climb up walls and manifest tentacles to attack people, protect himself and others, it can also help him regenerate damage. the name is currently a work in progress. he also has an energy gun that he can use to shoot things from far away, and a force field that he can use to protect himself...that's it really. not all wonders he makes has to be as cool as his battle suit.

Relationships: he has a....distant relationship to his family members and most people he cares about due to the fact that most people he's with are sane enough for them to become more genius's or Igor's and he really doesn't want that to happen to them.

(tell me if i should change anything or if it's good to go)
