The current suggestion does work for that page. However, the source comic is a great example of this trope...adding the preceding panel or panel 2 would help.

Agreed with moving the pic to I Was Having Such a Nice Dream instead. I'd also prefer something less specific to dreams for Yank the Dog's Chain.

Yank the Dog's Chain does have some kind of inevitable result like Failure Is the Only Option, and dreams frequently do reach the good parts. They always end, but I don't think that's quite what the trope is. They're also, ultimately, insubstantial. The exception is where dreams have actual power, but that's not the case here.

So I still think it works better for I Was Having Such a Nice Dream.

To be honest, I only mentioned it in the image suggestion thread to force a crowner for my other options. I figured the more image suggestions there were, the quicker they would have a crowner for at least some of them.

Maybe move the Charlie Brown pic from Butt-Monkey here? It could be easy to find a replacement for that trope.

How about an image showing the six times Ash has lost the Pokemon Leauges so far? I say so far because there's no doubt in my mind that he'll lose the next Leauge he tries to take part in and all the others after that.
