hi there! i appreciate the sign up, but we normally discourage joke (or jokey) characters as the first one a player enters with. i understand that you're probably meaning to write the union legitimately, but at it's core, he's fundamentally a humor-driven character who isn't the best-suited for normal interaction. it takes some time playing to get a good feel for the game, and that is difficult to do with a personification of a country that relies on the pop culture interpretation of the ussr.

if you have a different character (not another countryperson), i'd be happy to take a look at it, but i can't accept soviet russia as your first sign-up.

Appearance: A man with long pink hair and a tall man in his 30's along with having a semi-muscular build

Personality: His most biggest trait of his personality is obsessively erasing any trace of his history and keeping him a mystery to the world, he also has a violent tendency to those who try to uncover his identity or any other information about him, he also has pride and confidence in his stand King Crimson and himself, he also has a philosophy that results only matter to the world along with another philosophy that in order for human beings to grow they need to defeat their mistakes and even though he at least is able to empathize and understand people's emotions, he is still a ruthless boss that will hunt down anyone who tries to find out his past

Abilities: Double Personality, Soul Manipulation, Spiritual Connection and Intelligence [For Diavolo]. Time Erasure and Epitaph (it's an ability that allows Diavolo to forecast the future in 10 secons) [For his stand King Crimson]

Nice sign-up, man.

But as this is your first character, we would prefer it if you chose someone else.

Diavolo, (as I'm well aware) is a pretty sinister guy and his personality alongside his alignment don't make for good interaction (outside of conflict) as is the focus of our game.

And on the conflict side of things, as esoteric as King Crimson can be, he is still rather on the more powerful side of things (Particularly if someone doesn't have a stand).

This isn't to say that we don't already have characters on similar (or higher) levels of power, but they are played by established players who we have a greater level of trust won't godmod or ghost an attack if a fight goes down in the game.

So if you have another character in mind, please go ahead and tell us!

Name: Missile Source: Ace Attorney series Age: Unknown Gender: Male Appearance: Personality: Has a great liking for Samurai Dogs and seems to base his behavior around finding and eating them. Works with his handler Detective Dick Gumshoe when he is needed to help find scents on cases or investigations. Like other animals, he can't talk to humans, so he commicates through thoughts. After watching some videos on the subreddit r/Animal Text Gifs and the Youtube channel Tucker Budzyn, on his off duty time, he changed his thoughts to use words that are used on the subreddit and the channel such as Doggo, Pupper, Hekk, and other words. Abilities: Can sniff out scent using his nose. Sample post: I continued my shift with my handler doing the usual routine, letting me sniff around the crime scene untill I find something or pick up a scent. I started to smell something. 'Sniffer is picking up scent. Must follow scent.' I started to lead my handler to the scent. Soon I stopped in front of a cell. My handler letted me in. The smell got stronger. After much smelling, I came across the source of the smell, some drugs left beneath a bed of a inmate of the cell I was sniffing out. My handler picked up the drugs and handed it off to one of the people he was working with. My handler praised me happily. 'Yes, is good Doggo. Doing me a happy.'

your signup looks pretty good so far, but i wanted to clarify a couple things;

1. will missile be played in conjunction to gumshoe? if so, would you mind adding him to the signup? just add a paragraph break and write him in if so- it'll be helpful for us not intimately familiar with ace attorney to get an idea of his personality if he's around too. if missile is running solo, don't worry about it.

2. missile is a totally ok character to play and the sample post looks good, but how much does the subreddit affect his personality? he's not a joke character, i can see that, but i'd like to make sure he's really just got a few speech quirks rather than a "much doge such wow" personality. too much memery can make it difficult to interact with any character seriously.

1. Missile is going to run solo for now. I decided that someone else can do Gumshoe.

2. Ok. This is my first time doing a roleplay on TV Tropes. I'll see what I can come with. Missile's personality is based on his appearances in the series including the spinoffs.

Name: Phantasm (a.k.a Andrea Beaumont)

Gender: Female

Appearance: When not donning as the Phantasm, Andrea is a female with blue eyes and red hair, but when donning it her costume itself has a mask that almost looks like the grim reaper and is hooded too, the costume also has a bodysuit that is protective from mostly minor impacts and has a razor bladed gauntlet as well

Personality: She is beautiful and intelligent but has dark secrets, she is similar to the femme fatale archetype in detective stories, she is mournful that her father died and is vengeful as well and while she is almost similar to Bruce Wayne/Batman due to the fact that their parents died and became vigilantes, Andrea has a warped sense of "eye for an eye" justice while Batman doesn't

Abilities: While she is not a superhuman, she masters in martial arts and other abilities from her costume such as her bladed gauntlet, her protective bodysuit and a special gauntlet that emitted smoke

i like the character choice and sheet so far, and it's rare that someone signs up as a normal, unpowered human!

i do have one request along with a couple clarifying questions;

firstly, could you please provide a little more detail about her abilities and personality as both Andrea and The Phantasm? e.g "masters in martial arts" is good but if she has any specific disciplines (say, judo or way of the drunken fist), knowing the specifics will help gauge what exactly she's capable of. (for the record, i'm somewhat familiar with the character and know she gave her ex a run for his money!)

secondly, to make sure i understand, this is the canon, movie version of the character, yes?

lastly, a special note; we do not normally accept antiheros/antivillains as first characters, but you've come at a good time as we have a number of smaller plots she is well-suited for (which i and others can elaborate on later). is it accurate to say she's a character who's trying to do the right thing, the wrong way? that's the sense that i get, but i wanted to ask rather than assume!

in any case, if you edit and add to your sheet, and answer those questions, i'll get back to you asap! (i am currently at work and replying on my breaks)

1. I'm sorry if i didn't go enough with Andrea/Phantasm's personality and as for martial arts, I think it's just normal martial arts she has I think

no worries, happens all the time; we're primarily an interaction-focused game, so it's helpful to know how she'll bounce off other characters. edit in those extra details and i'll be happy to take a second look at the sheet!

Name: Usui Akira

Age: 16

Gender: male

Appearance: He is a boy of average height and fair skin. His hair is black like his father's, and red like his mother's. He wears his hair in a single braid on the left side of his head. His usual attire consists of a light red jacket with rolled up sleeves, green pants, red and white shoes, and a white shirt with a green Neo Nectar emblem on it. He is often seen with his headphones on, too.

Personality: He is gentle and sincere. Mild-mannered and caring, he is someone all sorts of people and animals easily trust and become loyal to, even strangers can comfortably speak with him or listen to what he says, believing what he says and agreeing with anything he suggests. Animals, especially crows, are naturally very fond of him. He does, however, has moments where he becomes unresponsive and "spaces out" quite often.

Abilities: He can sing quite well, and is beginning to write music of his own as well. He is fairly good at cardfighting. He has Psyqualia, which is so massive in amount that it "drowns" him and causes those moments of spacing out.

Sample post: Akira had smiled politely to everyone that he has met, all while his Psyqualia charging up, waiting, waiting like a maelstrom holding strong just over the horizon, to come crashing down, drown him, and claim him as just one small part of its whole.
