It appears something in Pop Team Epic's contract allows for non-exclusivity, as Crunchyroll, Funimation (simuldub), and HIDIVE will be streaming it.

Madman Entertainment has is on their AnimeLab streaming service in Australia and New Zealand as well. They also have Grancrest Wars which Crunchyroll is saying they will be streaming in Australia as well for what it's worth.

The thing that scares me the most about Junji Ito Collection is that they gave it to the director of Diabolik Lovers. sad

It's a full-length series instead of shorts, surprisingly enough. And it has all the cute yuri ramen goodness you'd expect from the premise. tongue Yuu is the kind of girl whom I'd probably tell to leave me the fuck alone in real life, but thankfully this is an anime, so she's a ton of fun. Visually, this is pretty solid − especially the pivotal ramen-eating sequences, obviously.

Huh, Koizumi-sam is kinda awful. Not shorts, but it really should be. Also ugly and just not very well made all around. I don't have the highest opinion of the manga, but at least it's better than that mess

Yurucamp is fairly okay. The comedy doesn't all hit, but most of it is enjoyable. One for the "will follow if I find myself short on series" list

Good news for anyone who was being blocked by the Anime Strike paywall but has Amazon Prime: Amazon has dissolved the service, meaning all of the series are now included with Prime in the US. This includes the upcoming this season After the Rain, Beatless, Killing Bites, and Kokkoku: Moment by Moment.

First episode of Grancrest Senki is out. If you want epic fantasy adventure that's free of harem and isekai genre trappings, this is the best shot we've had in a while.

The first episode suffers from "LN Adaption Syndrome", where they skip through worldbuilding and character development to establish the series premise by the end of the premier, but I think it's pretty intelligible despite that. Definitely worth a watch to see where it goes.

Devilman Crybaby: The story is too simple for the artistic pretensions of the direction— it frequently ends up working against itself. Gave up at episode 3, where the climax didn't have nearly the impact it should've

Toji no Miko: Kinda ugly, but I rather liked it otherwise. Fast pace, and it looks like it's actually trying to have a serious plot and not just pander

Ito Junji Collection: This is bad

Grancrest Senki: It has some moments, but mostly it's really bland. No real depth, and the few times the direction tries it just makes things worse. Don't expect I'll be watching

Citrus episode 1: …Holy crap, they actually put effort into this. Ô.Ô Maybe a bit too much, as weird as it sounds. Those groping and kissing scenes didn't really need to be this long.

But damn, compared to Netsuzou Trap this is like night and day. In terms of production value, at least. The story is still kinda dumb, but there's not much they can do about that. They did their best to highlight Yuzu's character at any rate. Also, I always pictured Harumin as a redhead for some reason…

Pop Team Epic: Huh, closer to the manga than I'd expected. I don't actually find it funny, though

Pop Team Epic is basically an onslaught of dada, consisting of memes, halfbaked jokes, jokes without a punchline or ones that stop halfway through, and 'jokes' that probably weren't jokes to begin with. That goes on for about 12 minutes. Then it has the balls to repeat everything, only with new voice actors and subtitles for a segment in French (and yes, the rest is all the same). The show doesn't want to be liked, nor does it expect to be. It is basically a giant middelfinger towards the audience. It isn't really supposed to be humurous, I think, it's just one giant pitt of anti-humor.

I myself liked it for what it was. Don't know if I will watch a whole season of this.

I feel like they should've stuck to shorts with Pop Team Epic and by three-quarters of the way through the first episode, it kinda felt like a slog but most of the jokes did land for me so I'll probably keep watching. I am gonna check out Funimation's dub just to see how they localize some of its material.

Grancrest Senki was pretty meh especially with how they just sped through the first episode to set up what is presumably the actual intro, I might check out the second episode to see what they do but at the moment, I'm not very interested in continuing.

Sanrio Boys... is a thing. I like its message but other then that, ehhhhh.

Meanwhile, Cardcaptor Sakura: Clear Card-hen, it's basically just a continuation of Cardcaptor Sakura and I'm pretty satisfied with what it has to offer and excited to see where they take Sakura and Syaoran's characters from here.
