Speaking words of fandom: let it squee, let it squee. This trope doesn't make sense at all, so I vote to send this to the Permanent Red Link Club.

No. That's not a valid reason to send a page to PRLC. There are conditions that must be met before PRLC can even be considered.
she/her | TRS needs your help! | Contributor of Trope ReportTo be even eligible for Permanent Red Link Club, the page itself must have a problem so serious, it should never come back. Examples include recreating a page that was cut and didn't need restoring, complaining magnets, wick being used in a manner unfit for a wiki, or any sort of unwanted behavior.
Adopted Soccer Song does not fit the bill for PRLC. We have cut tropes before without needing to lock after the cut, and this page does not have problems that would warrant a lock after cutting.

I had a dog-themed avatar before it was cool.Currently we have nine votes to cut, and I guess comment #10 is also a vote to cut, making ten in favor of cutting.
Does anybody want to give a reason to defend this or do we have enough consensus for action (pretty sure we'd need a crowner if there were opposing sides)?
Look at all that shiny stuff ain't they prettyBumping for another vote or comment, or if anyone thinks it's fine to call at this point.
Look at all that shiny stuff ain't they prettyJust to get it straight this is a song that gets adopted by a team as a theme right? That would seem like a trope possibly under a more general Licensed Music trope.

Yeah, it's a pre-existing song that gets adopted by or adapted for a particular soccer team as that team's theme song. I'm pretty sure Football Fight Song is an original song and used a bit differently (question mark?).
I think a more general trope could work more easily than something this specific...
Look at all that shiny stuff ain't they prettyYeah something like a Licensed Theme Song trope.
Wait we got Real Song Theme Tune that could probably work.

Bump. I also suggest Cutting the page.
Dewicked, added discussion page note and cut. Closing.

Adopted Soccer Song was created in 2013, but only has two wicks (courtesy link). Moreover, the formatting of the examples list is — well — done incorrectly. And all of the examples aren't even "[Song]" by [Artist] but instead "[Song]" ''associated with [Football Club]" (in case you're wondering what "FC" means). That, at the very least, doesn't seem kosher.
I went to its TLP draft, and it doesn't look like there's much improvement from then to now as far as the formatting goes (courtesy link).
This seems like it could be a genre trope, given the likes of Football Fight Song, but as-is it doesn't seem to be working. I think it could just be cut.
