They massively rushed P4's anime ending and then shoved the true ending in a 0 budget OVA.

They will likely do the same.

How 0 budget we talking about here?

Mouth movements not matching the Japanese voices, proportions were off on a lot of characters, lots of static shots.

Easily worse animation than the already terribly animated main series and there was no bluray release to fix the mistakes cause that was the bluray...

4 more palaces, 5 more party members (Ann, Morgana, Futaba, Haru, Akechi) to have their own character focus episode if we're being fair (I mean maybe Akechi doesn't need one, but you just know they're gonna give us one anyway). Honestly, no bias, but Futaba probably deserves even more screentime since her traumatic past/rehabilitation/close sibling-like bond with Ren is pretty important. Also all or at least some of the more important non-party confidants to at least touch on a bit, perhaps some more Mementos missions to at least brush over, 2 beach trips, a culture fest that wasn't nearly as fun as the one in Persona 4 but had plot stuff happen, the arrest, faking Ren's death/going incognito, the final trip down Mementos and battle with God, all the not-Igor/Lavenza stuff, followed by Ren's other arrest which I wouldn't mind if they retconned out and a whole lot of drama, like, so much drama. I don't know if it's possible to rush to that extent, but if it is, we're in for a clusterheck.

Morgana and Akechi probably won't get confidant episodes by nature of their confidants being part of the story.

I think Makoto and Futaba were more expressive in this episode than anyone else in this anime's run so far.

It was a very good episode. Above par for sure. Some good reactions, and pretty good animation.

And finally, best girl appears!

You can see her getting into a limo after it starts to rain.

Can't wait to see more of Futaba and Sojiro too.

Definitely one of the better episodes.

Glad to see more of Haru and Futbaba. Especially since they both seem to be downplayed in the new opening (neither of them appeared at all). And they haven't been in Infinity yet either, if they'll be there at all. It makes you wonder if they're gonna be clipped from the anime (they did say they were making some changes right), but I doubt the writers would go that far... I hope.

We'll just have to see what the future holds.

Dark Sun doesn't seem to be appealing to me, although I liked the first few audio beats before Lyn started singing.

Now they just need to drop the main plot and make the rest anime original stuff about Futaba and we might have a series that is watchable.

Breaking news, the remaining episodes will be aired under the title "Futaba-san has a Communication Disorder!" And will fully adapt and expand upon her social link.

Considering the anime directors favorite female character is Ann, you knwo what the real change for the anime will end up being?

The director will troll the fans of Makoto by making Ann the only canon love interest across the Persona anime adaptations.

I thought it was a rule for the canon Love Interests to be the Lovers arcana anyway? Rise flirts with Yu even outside the social link, and yukari got cemented in FES.

It varies by adaptation but the various sequels establish that there really isn't a "canon" love interest. At least for Yu. The anime will likely go the same route for Ren.

As I understand it, the P3 movies pretty much cut Yukari's feelings towards the main character and focused on Aigis as the love interest instead.

So we can't Lovers are the default...lovers.
