I have no replacement suggestion at hand but current on "What Do They Fear?" Episode doesn't do much to illustrate the trope, particularly the fear part is not showing.

I don't really get fear from that. Something generally frightening, perhaps, but the trope isn't about anything that's scary, and that's the hard part to illustrate.
