Okay, color me addicted. I like using the officer class, just for the vindicator. Best weapon ever.

This game looks pretty good, but I've only played an offline practice round.

My goodness, I just had an awesome time. Played up to the Residential mission, I think. First one with the eggs where you have to burn away biomass and whatnot. I was the medic and my team made it about halfway through before disaster struck and I was the only survivor. I picked up a fallen ally's flamethrower and almost beat the rest of the mission on my own (this was on Normal, though). The rest of the team was occasionally going "Holy crap, he's making it!" Although I didn't win, it was still friggin' awesome. Made it through with myself and another survivor the second try. I love this game.

The game gets so much more awesome when everyone but one person's dead.

^That happened to me. Unfortunately, the techie was dead, so it was mission failure in 5 seconds.

Pretty damn fun, but I feel like all the classes could use an extra gameplay element for themselves, just to make things more tactical and interesting. That said, it's certainly worth every cent you pay for it! (Except for the bandwidth. But that's not its fault).

^I feel like they should have more "exclusive" weapons. The majority of the weapons can be used by all characters, making them rather similar.

I like this game. But I think it needs more maps.

If the steam users' forums are any indication, the community is already hard at work making a bunch of tower defense mods new maps.

I left this downloading this morning when I went to work, so I'm going straight on it when I get home. My Steam name is kinema_p, though my in-game name is "Pablobot [GASH]" at the moment, not sure which you add me with, but when we play I've got dibs on pretending to be Vasquez from Aliens, k?

Screw it, I'm bored. Match is being hosted now.

Hit Level 27. Not sure if I should promote now or not. I mean, a dinky little star is nice and all, but I kinda like having my weaponry.

I did it, didn't use much of the later unlocks anyway. Tesla gun all the way baby.

Although, electro armor can be a live-saver in the later missions if your medic isn't ready for parasites.

It's practically built for custom content. People are already working on converting other source engine maps to it (conversion itself is easy, but you need to add in enemies etc, plus some terrain tweaks for third-person). There are a few custom maps out already, in fact.

If there were no Parasites, I would actually play this game again. As it is, I've decided to uninstall. I don't enjoy games that make me feel like I'd have more fun smashing my head into a brick wall.

I do kind of wish that they'd make it so that other players could remove the parasites from you by melee attack or just the use key. I'd even be alright if the act of doing so cost the infectee like a quarter of their health. The over dependence on the medic and their supplies for the parasites is something of a pain on the later missions. There's just so many of them.

A minor thing that also bugs me about the game is how is seems the guns are held like a sword, with both hands at one end. I think it looks completely awkward and strange - I'd be happier if they used their weapons with just one hand.

I don't think the game adjusts difficulty to accomadate smaller groups of players. Me and my brother had to play on easy just so one of us can finish a level half alive. Maybe the game is free so it would be easier to get freinds to download it :)

Anyone gonna change the combat music to anything good. I think I'll be lazy and swap it with Yakety Sax.

Hosting a match now. Trying to regain the levels I so foolishly traded for that stupid star.
