Huh about Vlad, his monster form does look a little goofy. Kinda feels like they tried too hard to make him look like a monster like with those upside-down bat-wings. Feels like extraneous details that also made him look rather stiff.

Also while I like his design his oddly colored blonde hair & bags under his eyes make him look a crack addict. Doesn't help that Castlevania which premiered somewhat recently had a rather better looking & better imposing Vlad.

Darnicula doesn't look good to me either. I was kinda expecting Darkstalkers Demetri or Jedah

I think I'll still take Darnic over Celenike. I mean, Darnic had to cross the Moral Event Horizon to show he's despicable, and I think Celenike is already way over there. I mean, Sieg could've been a Marty Stu or a weakass protag, but being his servant is way an improvement for Astolfo compared to her previous one.

Very tempted to show her off to the Complete Monster Discussion Thread... Oh wait, I just did.

Sieg might not be the most interesting protagonist, but I applaud his desire to help his fellow homunculi. The magi can fuck right off.

There's nothing wrong with creating your own Servants especially if their a good source of power but they should really just be completely mindless.

Hey... I just found this out in the Complete Monster discussion thread.

Apparently Astolfo's master is also a rapist, she used to kidnapped and rape young boys in her past jobs and then does so to a homunculus butler off screen in volume 2. Her ultimate plan before burning her Command Spells is to break Astolfo's mental fortitude until he completely submits to her and fade away while she enjoys the raep. Before that, she just limits to licking.

... Is this even in the anime?? I could definitely see why the anime decided to censor that, but that's another level of fucked up. And here I thought she didn't do the one thing that makes the Matou boys shot to complete infamy of monsterdom...

We see her kill her some homucukus boys briefly covered in blood and clearly insane. Easy to miss.

Um, I meant even before that. Backstory stuff? Maybe it could only be conveyed in texts?

They said in 'Volume 2' we'll find out about that... (I think we're just reaching there) Because if true, even full humans aren't safe. But then I heard the anime will be compressing things so maybe those details are one of those things compressed...

That said, if the rape thing is true, this bitch is trying hard to surpass Zouken in depravity.

Nah, not really. She's a quickshot at terribleness, Zouken can last a while.

Not really. She's barely noteworthy in horribleness, even her being a rapist isn't that special.

Shes...literally only there to die so Sieg gets Astolfo. Her death isn't even treated like a big deal...it just kind of happens and they move on.

Celenike is impossible to take seriously. Ranting screamy people generally just come across as absurd. Thank god Mordred shut her up. Even if she did have to come out of absolutely nowhere to do it.

Homunculus being tools is their whole thing, and for their part most Homunculi are fine for being tools.

The Einzberns have been nothing but Homuculi for ages making more Homuculi to serve the purpose they were all originally made for to get back their Lost True Magic. Homunculi made to serve a purpose making more Homuculi to also serve a purpose.

Depends on the person I feel. But you are totally spot on about Celenike though.
