I'd advise using a replacer program, like FoxReplace to help do rapid replaces...
If you're gonna use FoxReplace, it may be faster to make them by modifying the "list.json" located somewhere in your UsernameAppDataRoamingMozillaFirefoxProfiles

We have future plans to make it easier to do mass title changes and such things, but for now we're stuck with doing it manually.

"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"I am probably going to add a text editor and find/replace tho.
First up, A Hat Full of Sky.
But Night Watch is also a different kind of book.
Get rid of the walled gardenThen it should be moved (along with all its subpages) to either Night Watch (Discworld) or Night Watch (2002), same as any other conflicting titles. Does anyone have any preferences for standardization?
- Presumably the former, to fit with the already created YMMV page?
Disambig Needed: Help with those issues! tvtropes.org/pmwiki/posts.php?discussion=13324299140A37493800&page=24#comment-576If either, the former, as disambiguating by year is really the last resort.
However, there is still no consensus on a move at this time.
Any updates on this?
Have any of them even been moved?
Disambig Needed: Help with those issues! tvtropes.org/pmwiki/posts.php?discussion=13324299140A37493800&page=24#comment-576All Discworld pages (except the adaptations for obvious reasons) remain in Discworld/ at this moment.
This thread was created prematurely; there was never a consensus to move. Do not move any Discworld/ pages.
Why did Discworld get its own namespace anyway? Is it just a case of "my fandom is special" that crept its way into the wiki back when rules were less strictly enforced or defined?
Discworld.Thud is from at least as far as 2010.
So it's in no way a new phenomenon.

Disambig Needed: Help with those issues! tvtropes.org/pmwiki/posts.php?discussion=13324299140A37493800&page=24#comment-576This site is the only site I've ever seen the series mentioned on, so I don't think it's a popularity thing. I'm guessing years ago, maybe in the 2000s, it was decided that the series has a lot of works and that it should have it own namespace for simplicity's sake. This is outdated by current site standards.
Night Watch is a tricky move, and there are hundreds of unchecked wicks. It is complicated by the fact that there was already a work page at Literature.Night Watch which was unrelated. I've moved the identically named page to Literature.Night Watch Series, and someone else already put the Discworld book at Literature.Night Watch Discworld, but there's still plenty of work to verify subpages and indexes, not just the tropes.
Link to TRS threads in project mode here.
As per the Namespace Cleanup project, series that for whatever reason broke out into their own namespaces are to be re-integrated back into the main media namespaces. By the decree of...well, me, because I voulenteered, we're starting with Discworld. Moving the pages is fairly straightforward, moving all the links is going to be the harder part as Discworld is one of the most-linked series on the wiki.
The master list of the namespaced pages are here. All of them go to Literature. If people want to split off adaptations to film/animation that's their prerogative but I personally won't be bothering.
Here's a master list to cross out items on when it's done. DO NOT MOVE A PAGE UNLESS YOU ALSO COMMIT TO MOVING LINKS! DON'T CALL IT DONE UNTIL ALL LINKS ARE MOVED!
