Well presumably they could just not make it an OVA. Like Bennett says at the beginning. CLAMP's stuff doesn't lend itself to movies or small OVA that barely cover half the plot.

With everything the hell else from Go Nagai being updated/remade/getting a Netflix order, I’m still surprised at this one-shot got animated.

Wondering why he’s done the Groundhog’s Day references twice now. Hope it is him hinting at doing an Endless Eight review. Like, the whole thing.

The involvement of Krosecz is pretty interesting too, (he's best known for Abridged on Titan and became part of the Team Four Star group last year) since he ran his own original series that he was writing, acting most of the parts, animating, creating the music to, etc. (For two episodes at least, he decided he want to start it over from scratch but the whole thing was put on hold last year after joining Team Four Star.)

So that's a lot of extra talent and potential to bring into the project, complete with some experience about trying to do an original web animation show.
