I like Solomon and Daeron.
I like Solomon and maybe Yaroslavl.
The statue doesn't benefit from the angle, which makes his expression look unkind.
Check out my fanfiction!I like 1.1 (Yaroslav) and 1.2 (Solomon).
1.1 or 1.2
1.2.
(Annoyed grunt)Tally so far. Since some people voted on more than one, I've counted each such vote individually.
- 1.1: 4 votes.
- 1.2: 7 votes.
- 1.3: 0 votes.
- 1.4: 1 vote, 1 against.
So, looks like it's going to be Solomon. Since this thread has been up for about two weeks, I think we can go ahead and call this without a crowner.
You've got roaming bands of armed, aggressive, tyrannical plumbers coming to your door, saying "Use our service, or else!"on 1.1, just looks like a generic cosplayer to me.
I agree that given the circumstances going with Solomon is the prudent move; make it so.
Alright, I've uploaded the pic and tagged the page for this thread.
Caption ideas?
You've got roaming bands of armed, aggressive, tyrannical plumbers coming to your door, saying "Use our service, or else!"Nothing's coming to mind.
Doesn't really need one.
(Annoyed grunt)No consensus on a caption; locking up.
Kinda surprised we don't have a pic for this trope yet, given how common an archetype the wise king really is (that, or The Caligula gets all the attention). It's the ideal that most monarchs at least were supposed to strive for, so it's really common in art as well.

- King Solomon◊
- Aragorn as king◊
