Opened. I think part of the problem with this one was the horizontal layout; the teams are quite squished.

I agree. The idea is solid, but the execution could be better. Those particular images work well enough for me.
Check out my fanfiction!I have no idea what's going on in OP.
I can look for a different image for the '60s version. The one that I chose was just the cover art for the first issue.
BUPKIS?
How's this?

What about a combo of Marvel Girl◊ and Phoenix◊? I don't have time at the moment to stick 'em together, especially if the idea itself might not work.
Look at all that shiny stuff ain't they prettySince it's still a horizontal layout, it's still squished.
Check out my fanfiction!I can find a horizontal picture for the 1960s version and make it "Top vs. Bottom" instead of "Left vs. Right".
(I have a pic in mind, but I'm not in front of a computer at the moment)
^^ How would we know it's the same character if they have different names?
What about this?

That works for me.
Check out my fanfiction!pending other ideas.
Good to hear. If there are no objections, I'll add this image to the page.
That was way too fast for anyone to object, or offer other suggestions. Some people don't even check the forum every day, let alone every few hours. (Someone might, like, make a version without speech bubbles◊.)
I dunno, though. Almost all of the information is in the caption.

Becky: Who are you? The Mysterious Stranger: An angel. Huck: What's your name? The Mysterious Stranger: Satan.Tentative on 17. I think an image with the (even more) same characters would make a stronger suggestion.
Look at all that shiny stuff ain't they prettyI prefer the non-speech bubble version. As for the weight of the context being in the caption, unless someone can find a flow chart or some similar visual comparison out there, I don't think we're going to be able to pic this any other way.
I agree. The version without speech bubbles is probably best. Thanks for the editing job.
Sorry if I posted too fast.
Ok, though even with that caption, it didn't help me understand what the article is about. I only understood the suggestion after reading it. Perhaps the caption could be refined.
PS: I didn't mean posting, I meant editing the article. There is no rush to make changes.

Becky: Who are you? The Mysterious Stranger: An angel. Huck: What's your name? The Mysterious Stranger: Satan. The caption doesn't work without the image, so the image does have illustrative value.
Check out my fanfiction!I prefer the textless version as well. +1 to 17.
You've got roaming bands of armed, aggressive, tyrannical plumbers coming to your door, saying "Use our service, or else!"^^ It could be improved, though. What could it say instead of what "no one" and "everyone" knows? That is vague and unnecessarily absolute.

Becky: Who are you? The Mysterious Stranger: An angel. Huck: What's your name? The Mysterious Stranger: Satan.Maybe something like this:
The Stan Lee era of X-Men (top) vs. the Chris Claremont era (bottom). One version was done by their original creator; the other is the version that you probably picture when you hear the name "X-Men".
(Personally, I prefer the original caption for its succinctness, even if it's a little broad)

This pic◊ did not get enough consensus in the Image Suggestion thread. Other ideas?
