I agree, that's an improvement.
I have no idea how this one got closed again after I opened it to post...re-opening.
Improvement
Based on my (admittedly limited) knowledge of DC Comics lore, I refuse to believe that current is even an example. It's a bad image regardless of that aspect, but still.
The Pokémon image is a huge improvement.

If a tree falls in the forest and nobody remembers it, who else will you have ice cream with?I can go with the OP's suggestion.
(Annoyed grunt)Speaking words of fandom: let it squee, let it squee.
Suggestion works.

she/her | TRS needs your help! | Contributor of Trope ReportWrote up an entry for Tauros and Miltank in the Pokemon section as well.
"They're the same species? Thats A Load Of Bull!"
Works for me.
I've added the caption but not tagged it. Locking up.
While the current image◊ is a fine example of this trope, there's nothing in the image itself that conveys that they're of the same species without the caption explaining it.
Here's an image that I made with Miltank and Tauros from Pokémon which I feel shows this trope with the image by itself.
