Needs Help: Straight Edge Evil

This image didn't get enough consensus in the Image Suggestion thread. Other ideas?

BTW, I think it's a strikingly clear demonstration, so I'm not sure what the issue is.

NRLEP, perhaps? I'm pretty sure we're more lenient with things like propaganda posters because they're still creative works. Just look at pages like Chummy Commies or State Sec.

It's all about the left image. Does it say Hitler was an animal lover? Or is it running on the myth of his vegetarian diet? Anyway, the trope is about abstinence from vice which I cannot detect.

Huh. I think you're reading the trope too narrowly, but it seems we do have a separate trope for Evil Vegetarians. Ergo, it would fit better there even if it qualified for this one as well.

I agree with eroock. I don't see how petting a sheep shows clean living.

I wasn't crazy about this one either...it seems like it fits something other than this trope.

Anyone wanting to comment on my suggestion to move it to Evil Vegetarian instead?

Running the text on Hitler's medal through the Google Translate gives "I am determined opponent of the animal cruelty", so I guess the image fits more to the Evil Vegetarian trope.

The best case scenario would be all of them, in a 2x2 grid, slightly shrunk. I don't know how well that works.

As long as the Captain Cold pic can be made to work, I'm good with it, and with putting the Hitler pic on Evil Vegetarian.

I don't think they look like villains, and with that the rest is only talking about practicalities.

That's my gripe with that pic as well, primarily the appearance part. I don't think they're really Obviously Evil.

I object to the suggested change to Evil Vegetarian; I think an article that doesn't allow RL examples shouldn't feature an image of a real person.

Hmmm. That's one of our guidelines, but we do have one noteworthy exception...not sure if it's worth making another. I'll hit the snooze to give some more time to talk this over.

I believe the RL section on Foreign Queasine was cut because of generic "examples" and too much subjectivity. I don't think that means an image of it is inappropriate, unless you want to explicitly make it clear that it's the characters thinking that.
