Awwww :( I was hoping that would be a good birthday gift to myself.
It's Starcraft Ghost all over again!
You fell victim to one of the classic blunders!Yes, but this will actually come out.
Not as big a delay as RDR 2, which has been pushed to 2018.
Shame, but it's a good thing (kind of). Rushed games are never good.

Everything that lives is designed to end.As long as we get a solid product at the end. That and it lightens up my future purchase list to another year.
Who watches the watchmen?Indeed. Since it's so much bigger than Shadow of Mordor they probably thought they wouldn't be able to iron out everything in time for August.
Okay, so we do have open-world stuff in the various regions.
That trailer confirms that Celebrimbor is assuming more and more control of Talion, and The Bright Lord is what Gandalf warned (trying to to use the ring for good, but it cannot be used for good and making another Sauron), and everyone is telling Talion that the Ring is corrupting him.
Shelob seems to be involved (her offspring are confirmed already.)
So, is Talion going to take a dip in Mt. Doom at the conclusion?
Well that can't be Shelob, I don't think she can transform. Ungoliant, maybe, but there's no telling.
Didn't Ungoliant eat herself?
PSN ID: FateSeraph | Switch friendcode: SW-0145-8835-0610 Congratulations! She/TheyEven Tolkien doesn't know what eventually became of Ungoliant. The big spider just showed up out of nowhere and disappeared just as inexplicably.
Then again, having Ungoliant show up in the middle of Talion/Celebrimbor's whole "New Ring, civil war in Mordor" thing smells of such Diabolus ex Machina that I just don't see happening here, not during the main plot at the very least. Maybe as one of the story DLC.
Or alternatively, it IS Shelob, and this time she's getting to use her full power as the greatest daughter of an Eldritch Abomination with no pesky elven magic lanterns getting in the way. Plus, the one Talion's fighting here is WAY too small to be Ungoliant.
Also, Blink-and-You-Miss-It: Entwives, or at least one of them, make an appearance.

"If I was a tabletop RPG character, my player would be accused of both minmaxing and overdramatic roleplaying." -MeI'm pretty sure Ungoliant never really cared about anything other than feeding herself so I doubt she would take an interest in current events.
It's odd, I couuld've sworn that this balrog had wings... har har har
I'm a bit surprised to see a spider lady. Are animorphs common in Tolkien's lore?
Not really, from what I've seen? I remember Sauron turned himself into a werewolf to try and fight Beren's dog, but that's all I remember.
Beorn and his kind of skinchangers are the first to come to mind. Though if memory serves, they are specifically limited to human and bear forms, and mention of other types of skinchanger is not made anywhere.
"If I was a tabletop RPG character, my player would be accused of both minmaxing and overdramatic roleplaying." -MeWell, Bruz is everyone's new favorite.
He seems like a fun guy xD
He reminds me of WH 40K Orks.
That is... actually brilliant

Everything that lives is designed to end.Just realized, when he says "Bright Lord, Dark Lord, no difference," he's cluing us that there really is no difference!
How so?
