Hi! So, I'm trying to write a short story as a build-up for something I plan to do for Na No Wri Mo this year (I start planning waaaaaaay in advance), and I work very heavily with visuals. The only problem is, I'm stumped right now. You see, it's about four Japanese Priestesses/Magical Girls, and I like to have something to base my characters around (not as in, literally basing my character off of another, but starting from the design, and traits I feel that design embodies or exudes, building a character around that, and then designing them a new appearance that suits the personality I have built up. It's really cathartic! Only...I've hit a wall. I've been able to plan two of them, but I'm two short.

So, basically, I'm looking for image refs of characters from anime, manga, or anime-style video games - although the two I have so far are both from video games - that wear sexy/cutesy/fanservice-y kimono or furisode or yukata. Bonus points if they happen to also be reasonably well-endowed, but honestly, I'll take anything.

The two I have right now, by the way are Sakuya from Stella Glow and Yumi from Senran Kagura, to give you an idea of what it is exactly that I'm asking for. Any help would be VERY much appreciated. Thank you!!!

Just wondering, why are you going for "SEXY" kimono?

Also, if you just want those types of costumes, you could just do a Google search for "sexy geisha Halloween costume." You'd have to pick apart the ones that mix up Chinese and Japanese clothing, but this type of costume is one of the most common (albeit mocked) things ever.

You see, it's about four Japanese Priestesses/Magical Girls

then wouldn't a Miko uniform make the most sense.

Yeah, the traditional miko outfit is a white jacket over a tunic and what we'd call skirt-pants in the Anglosphere: Haori, kosode, and hakama respectively. The haori is sometimes called a kimono-jacket in the West but it's actually what you put over such a robe.

I mean, I get that you've given some context here, but this is still a weird question to put in this subforum for a couple of reasons.

I'll hide your name inside a word and paint your eyes with false perception.

While at this point, I'd assume that the OP can't do an (relatively) unfiltered image search for some reason. Since this kind of stuff is rather easy to find. And I do have an few results.

It's just that an lot of the results are an little bit on the NSFW side and this forum has rules against linking to that in the threads.

A quick Google shows the sexy versions to be essentially kimonos modified to look like mini dresses that show off the legs, with a low neckline for cleavage.

That's just the 'standard modern' type of sexy most people are used to, Kimono Fanservice describes how the traditional kimono was already meant to be sexy.

Also, the same question others are asking: why sexy?

By the way, does T Vtropes have a forum thread to request images for character concepts? Not just the sexy ones, but a place to ask for stuff like "non-sexy succubus warrior" and things that are hard to search for.
