Fire Emblem Heroes

She has Vantage right now, but I've got Desperation units to give to her eventually.

I'll probably give her both next time I get Fury (if I don't give Fury to Xander)

Any recommendations for common A Skills to give to her in the meanwhile?

Darting Blow is a nice budget skill for anyone who isn't super slow.

I concur with Darting Blow.

My only 5* Eirika is -Speed so I kept Darting Blow on her until now.

Completed the Warriors special maps.

Nothing out of the ordinary, I made it through each map fairly easily. Still though, it was a nice set of map, it was still important to position your units properly, but it wasn't as punitive as something like Tempest Trial. A nice change of pace all around.

For now I am greedily sitting on my orbs. The temptation to go for Nephenee is fairly high, but I must stay focused on the possibility of a Halloween event.

Maintenance of 28/29, depending on your timezone.

I really liked the Warrior maps. I get the idea was to give a Dynasty Warriors feel, but throwing a bunch of disposable enemies for you to defeat, but it actually ended up feeling like regular Fire Emblem maps, from the actual games, which is fun.

A lot of the non-Arena content throws around pretty disposable generics, too. Perhaps not in that sheer quantity, but still.

This is 100% Odin, though I'm not quite sure Lucina would actually respond that way.

Speaking of humorous content, here's a clip of Zephiel and his fellow tanks/armors facing the Black Knight.

So I recently got a +Atk -Def Nino and merged her with a bunch of bad IV leftovers. She's 4*+3 or something and currently Level 1.

It's also double SP day and I have Green Tome Valor thanks to Summer Elise. I'm going to SP grind the hell out of Nino.

I pulled on the Focus: Ninian and Hawkeye's Battle banner and got a 4* Caeda. +HP, -Def.

Tempest Trials are live! Happy grinding, everyone!

Notable prizes include:

• 6000 - Black Knight 4*
• 12000 - Resistance +1 seal
• 20000 - Fortify Def 1 seal
• 30000 - Black Knight 5*
• 40000 - Panic Ploy 1(!) seal

Pulled for Ninian, got 2 Eliwoods. Both +Spd -Res. Both 5*.

I already have a +Atk, -Res 4* so I can't help but feel a little pissed at my stupid luck, since a -Def seems to be too much to ask for!

I’ve been using Reinhardt/Xander/Olivia/Oscar for this Tempest trials and they’re working pretty well, since it’s pretty much just a horse emblem team.

Oscar doesn’t have any cav buff skills yet but I may give him Ward cavs just to make positioning easier.

Also, with the Black knight having Wo M, that’s one more unit to watch out for when leaving enemies at low HP

Given that you have Rein, you should snipe BK immediately with him. If I remember correctly, he's defensively worse than Boss Hector, with less HP and less RES. Dire Thunder his metal arse, then reposition/dance Rein back to safety. It's been working wonders for me, though in my case I do have the bonuses from S-rank bond between him and Titania plus Hone Cavalry from the latter.

Yeah I’ve been doing that. Once BK is down everyone pretty much is cake. Reds suicide into Oscar, Xander kills and/or tanks greens an rein mops up the rest.

Reinhardt/Blyn/Priscilla/Elincia make short work of TT. Mostly Rein and Lyn, but Priscilla's healing is still helpful, and Elincia can bait greens, plus I'd like to give her some SP anyway. Priscilla was given Hone Cavalry so that Rein can get a guaranteed kill on Burger King.

Ike, F!Corrin, Nino, and Lachesis for bonus and Lunatic+ runs for max points.

Nephenee, Olivia, Soren, and Lissa for Auto-Battle runs.

I've settled on Ike/Reinhardt/Titania/Ninian as my primary squad. I had to discover the hard way that Brave Lucina can't kill BK (ahem, Burger King) fast enough before she gets liquefied by Black Luna, and 4* F-Corrin rarely survives long enough on Lunatic (7 battles) to actually face BK.

Is a Nino worth using with Neutral, +Spd/-Atk, or +Def/-Res I Vs?

Nino's a great unit in any case, but I'd say either neutral or +spd atk -. Atk - ultimately only means 3 less damage while being able to double as many people as possible when you get something like +20 damage from your tome (and per round of attack) more than makes up for it. And +spd + 4 spd from a hone/rally should be more than enough to double almost everything. neutral also does a good job I guess.

Worth noting that at least the Lunatic 7 Black Knight does not have Wings of Mercy. He instead has Guard 3, meaning if you can't erase him right away, you can pick off the other units as they YOLO to their deaths without worrying about one-rounding them.

So I got my hand on BK lite (4 *), who arrived just on queue to round up my Armor Emblem.

What would be a good comp?

• Sheena
• Effie
• BK

I never pulled Hector, and the last non-dupe I have is Draug IIRC.

That looks fine. Since you don't have Hector, consider grinding up a Gwendolyn to give to one of them so they can get an attack buff.

Huh, just realized that with Black Knight I will have a full 5* armor team. Hector, Amelia, Black Knight and Effie. Looks good, I think. I wonder what C skill should I give to BK, though. He would be replacing Draug in my current team, so I guess Ward Armor? Fortify Armor doesn't seem all that great since positioning is fairly limited in Armor Emblem teams. I already got a Goad and Hone.
