Poor Image: Divine Date

I don't think this picture is nearly as clear as it could be that it's between a god and a human. Sure, Zeus was known pulling those types of shapeshifting stunts in the old myths, but as a result it looks more like Bestiality Is Depraved, requiring the caption as a crutch.

First idea◊ for a more straightforward example.

Yeah, that's too small and entirely reliant on the caption if you don't recognize it as Greco-Roman artwork.

Not a serious suggestion, but this◊ made me chuckle.

The classic myth of Cupid/Eros and Psyche offers a lot of classical art examples as it's one of the most depicted love story between a god and a mortal. If you don't mind boobs, which shouldn't matter when dealing with classical art.

The lack of colors in 7.1 kind of hurts its clarity IMO. I'm going with 7.2

As a sidenote, I'm a bit ambivalent about the Cupid+Psyche pics. A lot of them look more like God Couple to me. I think of those, the Benjamin West version is the clearest about the fact that one is mortal.
