Trouble Squad - Yet Another Star Wars RP Interest Check

So after seeing Rogue One for the second time today, I was wondering if anyone would be interested in another Star Wars RP set during the Galactic Civil War. The timing of this might seem odd considering my last Star Wars RP that I GM'ed only ended only a month ago but Rogue One gave me a hankering for another one. I was thinking the premise for this RP would be a Rebel squad comprised of "trouble" soldiers. Basically those who'd been known for being insubordinate, Imperial defectors, malfunctioning droids, veteran soldiers too old for regular combat, and those daredevil Rebels who just want a taste of some real action. Since this squad would doubtless be composed of some wild individuals, the missions that Trouble Squad would be sent on are dangerous and have more of an emphasis on causing the most destruction rather than negotiation and extraction. Let me know if you guys would be interested/post some ideas. If this takes off, I'll see about getting a proper signup thread going, although I might just use this one.

Funnily enough, I was thinking a very similar thing. I'll go for it.

I'm not very interested as playing as a Rebel, but it sounds fun. I'm in.

Even since the previous one died, I'm interested. Bringing back Laski might be a problem, though. (Pity. I liked playing her.)

Good to see some interest - especially from some Corsairs of the Seven Suns veterans.

As to bringing Laski back, you could always keep her pirate backstory but say she joined the Rebels after her criminal career, like Han Solo. Or you could just make her a granddaughter or clone of the original Laski .

As awesome as K2 was, and my own propensity for droidkind, I'll probably want to play a meatbag this time around.

I also think we might find this guide to names to be useful.

As I understand it, Laski would be 200+ years old by now. Doesn't feel quite right bringing her out for this, although a family member isn't out of the question...hmm. I'd like a little more detail before I carve out a new character.

I'm thinking a Turncoat Imperial of sorts with a replacement left arm.
