I don't know that we're going to find a scanlation that is better quality; this is the best I could come up with, and even then there's some pixellation around the translated text.
It makes no sense without context.
DIY texting
It's an auditory trope; why even try to represent it visually in the first place?
The picture in 4 is a confusing mess that adds nothing except making you wonder about the context. It's basically a quote.
So you think the left character looks like a grown man, or would be expected to sound like one?
Check out my fanfiction! No, but I can't tell what the character on the right is supposed to be reacting to. Either he has a very strange dialect or his grammar means that something very strange is happening. "What is that grown man's voice?"
I suppose it's better than nothing, though.
I figure the person on the right has just reunited with a long lost friend (the girl) and is surprised at her manly voice?

From the example description: When crossdresser Seiko's voice changes at the end of his second year, he becomes despondent and refuses to wear girls' clothes because his new deep voice doesn't match with a cute appearance. Lucky for him, it was just a cold and his voice went back to its usual higher tone.

There's the pointing, and the special speech bubble. I think that's enough to show that something's going on.
Check out my fanfiction!I think eroock's take is about as good as we can do for this.
I think so too.
(Annoyed grunt)Yeah, let's go with the quality upgrade in 4.
You've got roaming bands of armed, aggressive, tyrannical plumbers coming to your door, saying "Use our service, or else!"Clock is set. Anyone else in favor of 4?

Going BUPKIS on this.
I think that's 5-1 for the upgrade. Other thoughts or opinions?
You've got roaming bands of armed, aggressive, tyrannical plumbers coming to your door, saying "Use our service, or else!"BUPKIS. The current is awful and confusing, with badly translated dialogue and medicore art.
I think this is more-or-less an even split. Crowner, maybe?
Yeah, let's crowner this.
Votes bump; right now neither option's in consensus range.
Aren't quality upgrades supposed to be free, anyway? The counter-option should be "Keep the current".
You've got roaming bands of armed, aggressive, tyrannical plumbers coming to your door, saying "Use our service, or else!"Well, this one's ready to call. rodneyAnonymous already swapped in the upgrade, so I've tagged the page. Caption?
Hearing nothing for a coupla days, let's lock up.

I suppose the current is about as good as you can do for an audio-based trope, but the quality is a bit subpar. Does anyone have a better version?
