Ok, this is my first post here on TV Tropes. So remember that I am a newcomer. Also, I don't know if this is in fact the correct area to post this, tell me if it isn't and I'll try to move it... Now, on to the idea!

So you know the anime "Hetalia: Axis Powers" and how their characters were personifications of various nations? Well, my idea is to do that with the Punk Punk genres! Essentially, the main cast would be composed of characters based around genres such as Steampunk, Cyberpunk, Diesel Punk, etc. Each character would be built off of the themes, cliches, and ideas of their respective genre, as well as the common ideas of the time period the genre is based off of.

For example, Steampunk, who I'm making into the main character(I've typically preferred Steampunk over Cyberpunk), will be an adventurous, curious and daring figure who doesn't give regard for his own safety(Reflecting the adventurous, often whimsical feel of Steampunk), and often blends fantasy with reality(Steampunk sometimes explores pseudo-scientific themes), and is an optimistic albeit nostalgic and easily home-sick character(Reflecting how Steampunk writers often look back to the Victorian Era with nostalgia) among other traits.

Now, I figured this would be either a comic series or a web serial, I'm not to sure. So far what I have is that the main characters are 4 of the most popular Punk Punk Genres(Steampunk, Cyberpunk, Bio Punk, and Diesel Punk), and the general idea is that there is a set of planes on which various worlds exist side by side with eachover, almost like alternate universes. Each one houses the world of each respective character, and some rules will change or be tweaked in each world, and this set of worlds is under attack by an evil aggressor(I'm thinking of making the main antagonist the characterization an obscure genre called "Plague Punk," referring to the Black Death period), and the main cast has to travel the various worlds to stop this aggressor from taking over.

Of course, I am going to add "punk" elements to the story. I figured I could make it so the characters are something of an outcast, and they all have differing views on society and want to make a change while fighting against the bad guys.

So anyhow, any thoughts and/or suggestions? Anything that needs changing or tweaking?

Thanks!
