Michel couldn't help but feel a twinge of sympathy for the remaining pegasus rider, but quashed it. Sympathy for the enemy would not do, especially when one was meant to be killing them. Still, that didn't mean he couldn't be courteous about it. "Apologies, madam, but it seems I must allow you to meet with your captain in the afterlife."

Move to J15 and attack Vissan 23. If danced, attack Vissan 23 if she's not already dead. If she is, move to J16 and attack Vissan 25 instead. All attacks are made with the Iron Bow.

In a few short instants the company clashed with the Vissan aerial knights. Grendan's lance pierced a rider's side, but she managed to remain in the saddle until Michel's third arrow, the first two perhaps missing due to the difficulty of not hitting Grendan by accident, or perhaps staid by his sympathy for the foe, struck her chest. Zeera's thunder blasted another rider from the sky, followed soon after by a torrent of dark energy unleashed by Eridan. With brutal efficiency, the company had dispatched the first obstacle in their path to Port Gusfer.

The pegasi were down. That was good. It seemed there were fortifications across the stream, but there were other Vissan soldiers towards the west.

Zeera dipped back down to lower ground before returning to the hill she was at before.

Move to G12. Prepare Thunder Tome.

"Let's make sure there are no surprises in that house and clear out the remaining soldiers before pressing on. We'll need nothing at our flanks if we're to defeat the ballista," Vera said as she moved on.

"I think you look like you could use a ride," she teased Sophia as she swooped by the girl, reaching out her left arm to pluck her into the air as her Pegasus flew onwards.

Pick up Sophia, fly to E13.

Requesting Malia goes to E14 and performs her. If Malia dances her for a second round: Vera to E13. Prepare attack.

Go to F12, prepare attack with Throwing Knives.

Michel let out a shaky breath. Why he felt so much guilt after killing this particular enemy, when he had slaughtered so many previously, he didn't know. Something about the way she reacted to her commander's death...

Michel snapped out of his brief reverie and stuffed his negative feelings into a small corner of his brain. He'd deal with them later.

Move to G14 and defend.

It seemed the enemy was too well-trained to break cover, even with enemies in immediate range.

Grendan, though, was too cautious to approach an enemy with a weapon designed specifically for him if he knew about said weapon, so he turned back to deal with the two he'd seen to the southeast.

Move to H17, prepare attack with Throwing Knives (just in case an enemy spawns next to him).

If performed by Veronique, move to L20 and prepare attack with Throwing Knives.

The Vissans up ahead were staying on the hills.

That seemed problematic, but sooner or later, they wouldn't likely have much room to maneuver.

Move to D11. Prepare Thunder Tome.

Honestly, Sophia felt pretty bad for them, apparently they were all friends. She hadn't thought of the Vissan's like that before, but she wasn't about to let it stop her. The grim reality was that Vissan was encroaching on the whole world, and she had to do even this tiny bit to help. Gripping her staff she turned to the girl in pink that looked even more out of place than her. "Hey...um Malia right? I'm gonna need your help pretty please."

Move to D10, Heal self, if danced by Malia attack either Vissan 12 or 13(Fire Tome) depending on which one is alive at the end of the other character's turns.

Got the two going back to handle some left over troops and we were moving up. Time to put some pressure on this group.

Michel hmphed internally. If only those Vissans would come off the hill and make this easy.

The enemy spearman ducked and wove behind the rocky outcroppings of his hillside position, easily evading Eridan's missiles, but too preoccupied to notice Railen slip up to him. Railen's blade slipped past the soldier's guard, striking a shallow blow across his side, but as Railen danced back, a salvo of fiery magic exploded around the soldier from Sophia. The soldier grit his teeth and struggled back to his feet, wounded, but still standing.

Well, Grendan was much too far away to assist his comrades even if it wasn't too risky due to the Wing Sword. Only option now was to continue his self-appointed task and trust in their skills to pull them through.

Move to Q22, prepare attack with Iron Lance.

That was rather sudden, though there wasn't all that much Zeera could do about it.

Though she could probably slip in and take that robe.

Before doing that, she looked around to the people around her.

"Can someone hold onto this?"

After giving handing the vulnerary off, Zeera rand to the hills ahead, and attempted to swipe the robe off the mage's back.

If I have two robes... does that mean...?

If performed by Malia, hand off the vulnerary to Malia. If not performed, trade the vulnerary to Michel.

Move to D8 and equip Fire Tome if able. Steal (the Angelic Robe) off Vissan 14. If performed, Attack Vissan 13 with Fire Tome.

Heal Railen.

Vera kept on flying, not letting up on the verbal ass-kicking she was unleashing on Grendan.

Move to K20. Perform (Bark Order) Grendan

The healing energy flowed through Railen and he got up from where he was resting and replied to the healer with, "Thank you" and then he moved somewhere safer.

Move to B10 and guard with Steel Sword.

If Vissan 13 is still alive and E11 is unoccupied, move there and attack him with the Steel Bow. If E11 is still occupied, instead stay in place and prepare an attack with the Steel Bow.
